Linda Spreeman Review 8/24/2011

For the life of me I cannot figure out the appeal. No matter what the day or time, there is a wait to eat, unless you're lucky enough to find a seat at the bar. The food is good but it's cancelled out by the long waits and by the slow service. ~Linda Spreeman~ more

prepare to sit and wait... 8/13/2011

This is the 3rd time I have been to this restaurant and every time, I leave annoyed. It first starts out with at least 30min wait, then wait for the 'actual' server to come to you and then wait a painstakingly long time between each step and then maybe you'll get your food (which is ok not great but ok). more

Unwind in an island atmosphere 6/11/2010

Bahama Breeze has a wonderful islands feel to it, and the food is excellent, although the portions are large. Lots of choices made it a good choice for eating out with my husband, who has some interesting allergies. There was very little wait when we visited and service was quick and polite. It's a great place to unwind at the end of a busy day! more

a lil bit of the islands 2/14/2010

this is a great place to end a long work week. The outside atmosphere is refreshing and makes you feel like you are in the islands. Easy parking easily accessible from most areas. Good service and mixed drinks are delicious. more

Just like being in the Caribbean!! 9/20/2005

My husband and I stopped here after a long day shopping and were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. I thought it would be cheesy (and it was a little) but it was really great! It was nice outside so we sat on the outdoor deck, drank tropical drinks, listened to the live music and pretending we were in the Caribbean. I got the special, Tilapia with some sort of tropical salsa and it was wonderful. My husband got a chicken sandwhich and he said it was pretty good. We also got plantains as our appetizer and I loved them... but I love plantains and love eating foods we can't normally get at home. DH wasn't so thrilled with them, but that's just because he's not crazy about plantains to begin with. My favorite thing? The Belize Rum Punch!! They sounded surprised when I ordered it b/c I think I'm the first person that ever did... it's not exactly one of their more popular drinks and I found it in the appendix of the menu and not in the actual menu itself, but they made it and d more

Take an island vacation! 8/18/2005

Want to take a mini vacation? Go to Bahama Breeze and become immersed into their island atmosphere. This fun and festive restaurant offers great food and drinks for everyone. Unique island dishes, as well as traditional meals will fufill anyone's appetite. There is often a wait, but unfortunately they don't take reservations, but call about 15 min before you go and they will put your name down. Also, if you really don't want to wait - go to the outdoor seating section where it is first come first serve! PROS: Great food and atmosphere that appeals to all ages CONS: more

Highly recommend. Pros: Food , Ambiance, Service Cons: need reservations more

Good food at a reasonable price 5/18/2005

Bahama Breeze is a restaurant chain that serves delicious Caribbean food. The menu is quite diverse and includes both meat and fish dishes along with rice and beans. Their plantains are delicious and so is their paella. The portions are very large which makes it a good bargain to eat here. The only downside is that there is generally a line so be prepared to wait. more

Uniquie entrees and a nice atmosphere 4/7/2005

This was a unique retaurant experience, and the menu items were diverse and exotic. The food was quite good, but a little bit on the pricey side. We liked the mix drinks and the specials, and the service was pretty good. It's a good place to go for something different. more

Ja-making me write this review 5/1/2004

My boyfriend and I went to Bahama Breeze after watching an amazing IMAX film at a nearby theater. Our wait would've been 30-50 minutes, but we claimed a table near the bar. We waited for about 20 minutes to have our server clean the table and take our drink orders. If you are very thirsty, they have a drink menu with 100+ drinks! We ordered Coconut Prawn (pretty good), Oak-fired Angus Burger (burger-y), and Jerk Chicken Pasta (so-so). Our waiter, Nathan was very good-hearted and attentive; he refilled our drinks before we asked. Overall, this restaurant is okay. Could be worse, but couldn't be better. You should try Bahama Breeze if you haven't had Carribean food. Pros: Service, Drinks, Decent Prices Cons: , Parking, Bland Food more
