Its so hard to find a good place these days, and im so happy i went in, it was after work and pretty late me and my BF went in and we were basically the only people there (2more couples tops!) I HATE going into places when they are about to close because i used to work at a restaraunt and its just a pain expecially when your making everything from scratch but they werent rude AT ALL witch i was suprised we got an apetizer and 2 entrees (both chicken because they sounded sooo good) and it was amazing! we also got a couple of cocktails that were awsome! love it! deffinitly going back more

Overall it was more of trendy place to go rather than quality of food. Everything on the menu was over-priced and in my opinion wasn't worth it. It's not on my list of places to re-visit. Seemed a place more to party and drink rather than dine. more

This amazing restaurant that has food that melts your taste buds. Some of the food is a little exotic, but still was very delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. more

Yummy!! 4/19/2008

I've had the pleasure of dining here 3 times during the past 2 months and can't wait to go for more! I love the black bean soup. In fact, everything that we have tried was awesome! Mojitos are great and lots of varieties. I tried one with fresh pineapple that was superb! Their lemonade made with real cane sugar is to die for! All servers and hostesses were very friendly and accommodating. Nice interior, great bathrooms, even my 2 sons love it too! more

Different kind of chain 2/11/2008

I've eaten at the Bahama Breeze in other cities and just found the ones in North Atlanta. We ate with guests at the one on Haynes Bridge and it was good as always. The goat cheese appitizer is really nice, the pasta dishes are delicious (all 5 of us ended up with a pasta dish) and enormous! there was enough food left over to take home for a family of 4! We were visiting with our out of town guests and sat on the table for 2 hours, our waitress was very occomedating and did not rush us. I highly recommend for a change of pace. i really enjoy the food there at bahama breeze. its really refreshing, and tasty, but yet not weird, and gross. i deffintly recommeded this to everyone. i could eat there almost* all the time, and never get tired of the food. the servers are super helpful, and nice. i also love how they design the inside, and the outside of the restaurant. more

Amazing Evening 2/6/2008

I went to this restaurant with my family for a nice dinner out. I first saw the restaurant in passing and they did a very good job of making the look of the restaurant fit with the food they served ther. I went there during the winter and you can eat in the restaurant or on the deck, which during the winter they heat it so you won't even fell like you're outside. The food is great! more

I was so excited to see them open for lunch! This is my son's favorite place to eat. The portions are large, the food is always prepared well and tastes delicious. Try one of their lemonades- made from scratch and served with a piece of sugar cane. more

I celebrated my birthday here. The coconut shrimp are great and they have a nice variety of frozen drinks. Sitting outside is relaxing and the crowd seems to enjoy itself. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Bring the family of good friends for an evening of good food and fun. more

Bright atmosphere 12/28/2007

We enjoyed lunch here for my friends baby shower. I was impressed with the open Caribbean themed decor. The food was equally impressing. The prices were a tad on the pricey end, but nothing far reaching for the the type of restaurant this is. Take the family or gather friends you won't be disappointed. more

Standard Chain Restaurant 8/6/2007

I can walk into any of these chain restaurants and they just don't inspire me, this one in particular. No wows, standard setup, standard fare, standard rules, standard wait staff, standard menu, standard drinks. The menu may have different and exotic named dishes but the food is pretty similar to any other chain. Bahama breeze falls into this comfortable, familiar and terribly boring chain restaurant where the only think likely to make it even remotely memorable is going to be the company so make sure you go with truly zany friends. more

They put MSG in much of their food! 7/30/2006

I find it cheating to put MSG in your food. This is a food additive & enhancer that greatly boosts the flavor of different foods. MSG can be harmful to many and some may even be allergic to it. I always have to ask that question if they put MSG in it. I did ask and the server said yes but that we dont tell anyone. I found that as a weird comment. They also dont have it listed anywhere on their menu. I just thought it was a concern for others and a potential hazard. PROS: Good atmosphere, outside dining CONS: MSG IN FOOD!!! BEWARE, food overpriced, long waits more

Good jerk chicken, nice ambiance 6/17/2006

Do not go in PRIME TIME LUNCH (1 p.m.). We were a group of 5 - and waited 10 mintues for a table... Not so bad, but the service was intermittent (bad!). And our servicer got one order COMPLETELY WRONG. While the quality of the food was fine, I don't understand how a rare tuna order not only was screwed up, but how it took over 30 minutes. Though I enjoyed my meal, I would never dine in house again. MAYBE take-out. Not sure. If you are coming here, try something with Caribbean flavors - it will be delicious. Not too authentic, but perfectly fine for the location. Pros: good parking, nice atmosphere, plenty of air conditioning Cons: spotty service by too few waitstaff more

Good Food, Good Service, Drinks w/out the BUZZ 11/5/2005

Even though we made reservations we were told we had to wait 10 minutes. After an 8 minute wait we were promptly seated. The lighting was dim as if it was meant to be romantic, but the sounds of others conversations and music made it a great place for a group setting. The Service was awesome. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, and was not afraid of making suggestions based on what we had a taste for. The alcoholic drinks were fun, but it leaves you feeling like the designated driver. The food was near perfect. The Grilled Jerk chicken was tender but not as spicy as I like, but for a commercial establishment, it was just fine. I would recommend this place for anyone who desires good food, and does not want to travel 500 miles for Caribbean flavor. Pros: quality of food, portions Cons: drinks , lighting more

Festival Atmosphere 7/23/2005

Bahama Breeze is one of my favorite restauratns in the metropolitan Atlanta area. My last visit to the Kennesaw location was a very positive experience. The service was fast and friendly. They offer a wide vareity of Caribbean styled cuisine including, my favorite Paella, which is a combination of seafood favorites (fish, shrimp, mussels, scallops) and sausage in a bed of Saffron rice. This heavenly dish is served on a large platter, that is plenty enough for two. Bahama Breeze also has a full service bar, tikki bar on the deck outside, and a small gift shop. Visiting Bahama Breeze is like a trip to the islands. It offers a great family atmosphere, as well as a fun family dining experience. The prices are a little above average, but pretty much in line with most chain restaurants like Red Lobster and Fridays. PROS: Festival atmosphere, Good food and service CONS: Some items a bit pricey more

Always Perfect ! 5/31/2005

Bahama Breeze has always been my favorite place to go for dinner,appetizers or just drinks. The atmosphere is superb, live music on the outside deck...just like being in Jimmy Buffet world. The drinks are out of this world. Gotta try the bahamarita it's awesome. So many choices. The food is unbelievable. I have never had a problem with them they are always super nice and happy to serve you. Friday and saturday nights are very busy ! PROS: The whole place is perfect CONS: Fri & Sat very busy go early. more

yummmmmmyyyyy....... 11/5/2002

My girlfriend and I recently dined here and it was soooo goood. the new menu item of jerk pork was fabulous. the tuna ceviche was excelent and the key lime pie was the best i have ever had ""yum."" our server was nice and patient with us to describe the food and help us decide. i am definitly going back soon to try some more new food. i did notice some live music while we were leaving. i dont know if it is only in the smoking section or if i had just arrived to early, but i do wish the host would have informed me of this music so i could have enjoyed that while we ate. this is a great place. i dont usually ea at chains ,but it was great. more
