This place is just great! You have never had a bagel until you have a Bagel Junction Bagel.Made from scratch and baked on premises.Wraps,Pizza,Smoked fish,Coffee's,Free internet,smoothies,Chai teas. I live on this stuff! My kids watch their favorite cartoons while I read my NY Times or Philly Inq.I think they make all of their salads here and they get Hebrew National Pastrami,Corned Beef and Pastry from Brooklyn NY. First I must tell you that I have tried Bagels from Toronto to Brooklyn thru Manhattan to San Diego Ca. I have eaten Bagels of all varieties baked many different ways. However this 40 seat Bagel Junction,deli,restaurant has just what the displaced New Yorker craves. Crispy, Delicious kettle boiled bagels, Smoked fish from Brooklyn, Pastries, Boar's Head cold cuts, Homemade Cream Cheeses, Salads, Smoothies, Coffees, and Fresh Squeezed O.J. They even have Free Internet Access.My wife and kids love the friendly atmosphere(TV's with sports, news and cartoons keep the little ones occupied)I\r had my favorite Breakfast this morning a toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, Nova lox, leaf lettuce, jersey tomato, thin sliced cucumbers, red onion and capers with a side order of fresh fruit. My wife went for the Homemade Whitefish Salad (with delicious chunks of whitefish chubbs) on her (believe it or not) Multi-Grain Veggie Bagel she said the Plump, Juicy Jersey Tomato tops this off just fine. The boys had a Bacon, Egg and Cheese and a would you believe Thin Wrap Crust Pizza. The Bagel Junction in Newtown Pa. is open till 8PM. And they have Hebrew National Corned Beef, Pastrami and Artisan breads.I tell you With all the cookie cut franchises out there it is great to have an out post like this in Bucks County. I travel 25 miles to enjoy this clean,comfortable, unique Gem and I know you will too! Owned by a real live second generation bagel mensch. and if you have to ask why this matters, I'll tell you that Lender's makes perfectly nice bagels. The decor's hardly classic (it was done in the 80's) but the place is clean, the help is usually good, the owner's often on-site...and the bagels! Old school bagels so good that it doesn't MATTER if you 'gut' them because you're watching your carbs. blended cream cheeses made by hand. a Kosher slicer for the Pastrami. and the coffee's even good.
