The Best Sushi in Town (Seriously)! 1/18/2010

I?m a little hesitant to add to the rest of these glowing reviews for Bada, but only out of a self-serving need to keep this one of the Seattle Metro Area?s best-kept secrets! Having dined at Bada at least 25 times, I can tell you that they consistently offer great service, reasonable prices, and of course the freshest fish around. From their classic Nigiri and Maki-style sushi, all the way to the more daring ?live? sashimi dishes, I?ve yet to be disappointed in either flavor or presentation. As word has spread of all that Bada has to offer, unfortunately so have their wait times increased. About a year ago we never would have had to wait for a table, but during weekend dinner service you may now experience up to a 15-minute wait. If you somehow feel that isn?t worth it (even though I can assure you it is five times over), they also offer a fast pickup service for those who call ahead. Regardless of when you go and how you decide to get it, the important thing is that you give this one a try! Pros: Friendly and fast service, amazingly fresh food! Cons: My stomach is only so big. more

best place for sushi...anywhere! 12/2/2008

We just tried this place for the first time tonight and let me say it was by far the BEST sushi place we've ever been to (in Washington AND California). Really fresh fish! We ordered mostly sashimi...salmon, mackerel, white tuna, toro (but didn't try the ""live"" sashimi). We also tried the spider rolls and white tuna rolls which were incredible. The prices are also really reasonable...the two of us had dinner for $55 (and that was including a $14 bottle of sake). During dinner, they treated us with lot of free ""samples""...from pickled treats to dishes they were testing out (like whole tempura jalapenos filled with cream cheese). Friendly staff...very attentive. It was quiet...they just opened and maybe not a large following yet...try them out, you won't be disappointed! more

yummy! Don't let the outside fool you. 8/31/2008

My husband I went here for lunch because it was close to our house, and were very surprised. Top-quality sushi, and the lunch prices weren't bad. I think we spent $30 together for lunch, but it was very good. The staff was friendly too, but it wasn't busy at all and that makes me nervous it will close. I'm hoping it was just because it was new. more
