I don't think a ""Poor-Fair"" rating is low enough for this shop. When my credit card company flagged my expenses at this place as possible fraudulent activity, I should have taken that as a sign. I was charged for ""premium"" auto parts\work that broken down 6 months later....after-which the owner only wanted to warranty the labor. After taking my vehicle back and explaining the issue, I was charged for the same auto part (again) which broke down 2 months later. The owner of the shop then explained to me that the issue was greater than the auto-part and gave me an $1100.00 quote to fix the entire problem. I took my vehicle to anther shop for a second option, ""Wild Cat Automotive"" and the only issue they found was the faulty auto part that Backus Shell Service Station installed and charged me for, twice plus labor. I talked to the ""manager"" about the second opinion, I offered to bring my vehicle back in for inspection but he refused and was upset that I would question him and hung up on me. I would not recommend this place and seems like others have a similar issue with this place of business. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB about this.
