Awesome 8/1/2011

I had my first body scrub and body wrap at Back to Basics and it was one of the most awesome experiences ever. I have had the facials there before and that was equally awesome, so I would definitely recommend to the public. more

Relaxing 7/29/2011

Back to Basics is a wonderful stress reliever. I got a relaxing and wonderful facial and mani-pedi. I feel and look great. Great spa in the Quincy area. more

Very very nice 7/29/2011

Excellent service! My experience was that I called on Wednesday to see if they had any openings to get a nice deep tissue massage. The receptionist is very nice, and told me she would call me if anybody cancelled this week. Lo and behold, someone cancelled and I was promptly on my way to heaven! The staff were all very pleasant and the masseuse professional and down to earth. I would highly recommend this place over the last place I went. I've been trying to find a new pamper spot in the area, and believe today I have found it! more

Charming place 7/14/2011

My daughter and I visited this charming little spa recently for facials. It was the first time there for both of us and we both had a great experience. I will return for a massage next week. I really love the spa and the very warm and friendly staff. Looking forward to my return visit. more

South Shore's Finest! 7/28/2010

This place is huge-10 treatment rooms, some with gorgeous tropical, hand-drawn wall murals. High end equipment-electric massage tables & deep tissue-shiatsu chairs. All staff here are exceptionally friendly, welcoming & experienced in advanced massage techniques, even with their fabulous 1 hr. pedicures. Great prices & best service, ever! Pros: Gifted professional staff, Great prices & Tranquill setting Cons: Can't think of any. more

Relaxation at it's BEST! 3/4/2010

My wife & I like to take time together & do something healthy, at least once a month. We found this awesome place last year. Being a guy, I wanted a relaxing environment that wasn't too fru fru. This is the place--All their services, including a men's pedicure, are done in private rooms. I love this. (every other place I've been has you sit out in the open room with your feet propped up, while everyone looks at you.) Here, you're greeted with refreshments, heated neck pillows & a friendly practitioner.--They are all so specially trained here & you can tell they love what they're doing. My wife has had their massages & fruit body scrubs & I've had their men's pedicures & facials. Oh, what a great retreat! I recommend Back to Basics to everyone who wants to get a real relaxing, healing treatment. more

client 1/2/2010

I have been a client at this spa at least 4 times and each time I felt renewed and refreshed. Treatments have included facials, massage and reflexology. I have spinal stenosis and have felt relief from their massage almost immediately. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. They also give you a $ 5.00 gift of your choice and various teas and water to keep you hydrated. I will not hesitate to be a future clent and recommend it to friends. more

HORRIBLE!!! 7/2/2008

The place is extremely cluttered. The pedicure I received by Yvonne was atrocious. The massage part of it was great but the woman had absolutely no idea how to paint nails. I was embarassed by them and had to go straight to a nail salon to have them repainted. Would NEVER go there again Cons: atmosphere is awful more

Wonderful! 1/11/2008

The caring and experienced women at Back to Basics are wonderful. Just walking in I felt so uplifted by the serene, easygoing, supportive atmosphere. Suggestions for staying well between visits are offered with humor and care. That helps so much when you are dealing with a chronic illness. I've never been to a spa where the practitioners seem to have been chosen so carefully. From the 20 something massage therapist, to the 60 something Reflexologist, each has a deep knowledge of their craft as well as the gift of truly healing hands and spirit. more

The absolute best massages at an unbeatable price! 5/3/2006

My sister & I have visited this wonderful, cozy, welcoming spa (healing center), numerous times & have always found it to be by far the best around. We have also visited many other establishments in the area & have found none that compare to Back To Basics Massage, in so many ways. First & foremost, the all female staff is very professional, friendly & down to earth. They all make you feel important & the main priority, the entire time you're there. They offer several different types of massage to better meet your therapeutic needs. They are the greatest at deep tissue massages. And they give you the full time allotted, if not more, as opposed to other places that only give a 50 minute massage, they give you at least 65 minutes for an hour booked, of hands-on therapy. They also give back so much more than any place we've been.--First time you get a healthy take-home pack w/samples of Biofreeze, Sombra & home-made sea-salt scrubs. Each & every time you go, you also get a bottled water, & green tea sample to take home. When it's your birthday, anniversary, graduation or most any other celebration, you get these wonderful take-home gifts, that have to be worth at least $10. ea. They also give great coupons for other services they provide. And they have this referral gift program that gives you $10. off ea. treatment for both of you. (Their prices are already the lowest around, and they will meet or beat any other esbablishments prices on services & or products.) They also have a daily, complimentary refreshment cart w/herbals teas, hot cocoa, coffee, iced teas, spring water & healthy snacks. All the chairs in the reception area are remote controlled-massage, while you watch an interesting video of someone getting a massage modality that they offer. Each & every time you go you get complimentary custom aromatherapy of your choice. (All other places charge around: $20.) They also include: heated thermal back pads, pain releiving gels, herbal eye pillows & lots more of adjunct therapies, at no extra cost. Their massage tables are so comfortable-heated, vibrating, electric & extra-wide for comfort. I really can't say enough about Back To Basics--they truly are the best around at an unbeatable price, available every day of the week. You really just have to try them for yourself! more

The best professional massage facility, in Mass! 8/4/2005

My sister and I go to alot of different massage facilities, and this place is by far the best! We've never been to a spa or healing facility that offers so many complimentary additions. Having had several treatments there, complimentary aromatherapy (every time), refreshments, paraffin hand treatments, sea salt scrub samples, Biofreeze, Sombra, & referral gifts, are just some of the free-be's we've taken home. And their prices are much less that everywhere else.--And the staff are always so welcoming. I can't say enough on how wonderful our experiences have been, at Back To Basics. We give them the highest of ratings, out of any place! Pros: inexpensive, free aromatherapy, professional Cons: none more
