Dr. John W. Hall Jr. is a Chiropractic Physician and a native of Richmond, VA. He is the son of the late John and Naomi Hall. He graduated from Armstrong High School in 1964 and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Hampton Institute in 1970. He served in the U.S. Army as the First Lieutenant prior to working for the U.S. Navy as a civilian architect/ planner in San Bruno, California.
In 1975, John discovered chiropractic. After receiving marked improvement from care, John was determined to share his new found knowledge with the many innocent sufferers who were as unaware as he had been. He decided to enroll in Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa (the first and largest chiropractic school in the world) in 1977. He graduated magna cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, the only black student out of 177 in the June 1980 class. In April 1981, Dr. Hall opened his office on Chamberlayne Ave. and became the first black chiropractic physician in the state of Virginia. Dr. Hall has a family oriented, family owned practice, which has served Richmond and vicinity specializing in precision chiropractic and spinal biomechanical evaluation & rehabilitation.
