I've been going here for just over seven years because it is close to my work and because i love Dr. K and Dr. Fanous! Dr. K fixed the knee of one of my dogs and Dr. Fanous has taken care of my other dogs. i feel comfortable going there because i know they care. they also happen to be very friendly and funny! Left this vet! DO NOT USE THIS VET! 11/15/2009

Dr. Fanous misdiagnosed my dog and started her on the wrong treatment . We went to 2 other vets that told us what we were told and were doing for our poor dog was wrong and now we have a much better vet. We do not recommend this guy who talks a good game, seems very nice, but is really incompetent. DO NOT USE THIS VET! Pros: Close to my home Cons: BAD VET more

Best Vets in Newport 8/21/2009

I have 4 dogs and 3 cat and Dr. Fanous and Dr.K have been our vet for more than 5 years. Dr. Fanous saved my dog 3 times. Dr. K is a great orthopedic surgeon as well. It is very easy to get an appointment at anytime. Dr. Fanous gave me his e mail address and his personal cell phone to call him at anytime if there is any ER. He is very professional and knows what he is doing. My husband and I are very proud to have a great Vets, If you need wonderful Vets don't hesitate to call them. The office is beautiful and their staff was very bright, efficient, and comforting. more

Dr. Fannous is incompetent!!! Beware!!! 8/19/2009

SERIOUSLY...STAY AWAY..from this Vet: They are not smart over-priced and careless. They will misdiagnose your dog and take NO responsibility for their actions when they mess up. Dr. Fannous is worse than Dr. K. As a animal rescuer and vet tech, I know that this kind of practice is terrible!!! BEWARE!!!!! more

we had used several local vets since moving to newport beach,ca and after visiting Back bay animal hospital our search was over,the entire staff have always been caring and ensures that our pets needs are well met.all of our dogs care have been entrusted to Dr k and Dr fanous....visit the facilities and ask questions you will fid them as helpful as we have more
