This place has been taken over for the better! Fun times abound. Go see for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

Worst

This place is closed due to a bad health rating. I wouldn't ever eat here, and prefer to have beer that's actually cold and an environment without such foul-mouthed old men.

Great, One of the few Local Hangouts in Cary 9/25/2008

I've sat up here on a few occasions and had a great time with good service. The thing i don't understand is the smoke. Please, please do something about it. I don't understand why this should be a problem to deal with this day and age. A simple exhaust fan would do the trick. I don't mind if someone in my crew is smoking, but hate the wall of smoke and smell you get stuck with when leaving. I'm not asking for it to be non-smoking but make some changes to accommodate your non-smokers. more

You Get What You Want 8/11/2007

It is ILLEGAL in the State of North Carolina to buy alcoholic beverages for patrons!! I have always had a great experience at the back 9 as the clientele ranges from landscapers to millionaires. After spending 3 months at GROUND ZERO I expect NO freebies !! You do the job because you LOVE it ! Wings are GREAT !! Tossed more

I went to this bar on my twenty-first birthday (July 11) and was blown away. The bartender was wonderful and the owner bought my first shot. We went on karaoke night so the atmosphere was really fun and lively. I'll will go back without a doubt! Pros: Service, food, atmosphere Cons: Parking more

We went to the Back Nine tonight. Our good friend, who just got back from Iraq since 6/05, AND it was his exact birthday, however the owner KNEW this, but chose to not give him any kind of appreciation via a free drink after his friends outright asked. more

Great Place! 7/29/2006

Here's a little Cary secret - the Back 9 pub grub is actually very good. Most people stop for a beer but the burgers, teriaki chicken, fries, macaroni salad is all better than you'd expect to find at your local watering hole.
