The service was awful. Our waiter could not speak English. We were overlooked several times by the tableside servers. Some of the meats were OK but several were dry & tough.\r I guess they are trying to maximize how many they can fit in the place because the tables were so close together.\r When it was time to pay the bill, it appeared that they placed a sticker inside the check holding envelope that stated ""18% mandatory tip for parties of two or more"". I have never heard of this and it was no where on their menu.\r DON""T BOTHER!!! more

Valentines Menu, Brazilian Barbecue in St. Louis 2/15/2009

I had a terrible experience on Valentine's Day. They had a special menu that included an appetizer, a glass of wine and a dessert with the barbecue and salad bar for $45. The only 2 choices of appetizer included shrimp (which I am allergic to) and I couldn't switch it for anything else. My husband ended up ordering both for himself and when he got them, each one had only 2 shrimps!!!! The same with the dessert, only 2 choices: chocolate cake with white icing or chocolate cake with white icing and strawberries. The service was terrible! We were only getting chicken and sausage at our table. And when the bill came, they had a note saying a service fee of 18% would be included on the bill for parties of 2 or more.... We were not satisfied with the service and had to give them 18% because we were a couple. Terrible experience! Won't be back there. more

Best meal in St.Louis 1/14/2009

This one is our favorite restaurant in St.Louis EVER! \r The meal is great, you don't have to order anything, you just get there and start eating immediatly!\r There is always new items on the salad bar and hot dishes, is always healthy with a lot of viriaties, we just love to eat healthy.\r yes, it is a little expensive, but is much better than paying U$25 for a steak and 6 for apptizer, you will find everything you need at Bacana Brasil for 29.95 during the week and 31.95 on the weekends.\r if you like some specific item, just ask them to bring, they always want to know which cut is your favorite!\r I love Bacana Brasil! more

Loved it! Not your average cheap buffet -great food! 2/9/2008

Pricey - but ohhh so good. If you are meat lover you will be in heaven.I have never been to a buffet like this one. The grilled meats are great (except for the sausages and chicken wing IMO), spiced nicely and always hot. There are fish/ shimp selections also. The meats are brought around to your tables and served if requested. (The shimp were always gone before he made it to our table.) The buffet tables themselves had a nice variety that seemed to appease our party of 8 ( two of them vegetarians). They had both hot and cold selections. The service was ok - seemed to forget our dirty plates alot. But all in all a very good experience. more
