I bought a Duval crib at the Reno Babies R Us. I spent around $700 overall. I brought the crib home 100 miles away. Opened it, the hardware to assemble the crib was gone. I called the store. A young sales woman talked to her manager and came back (the mngr. never spoke with me) and I was told they can't order parts through the company (Delta in New York) & that I would have to do it. I asked them why they have a vendor with no parts support. I received no help and a hurried attitude from the sales girl. I asked them to open another crib package and send me the parts packet. They didn't have another crib of this kind left in stock. She said bring back the crib and we'll have another one sent to you in 7 days. Two 100 mile trips? I don't think so. I'm on my own. My grandson will arrive in four days. I'm a working grandmother who is tired of young incompetent sales people that can't think out of the box and inaccessible managers with no concern or resolve. They got their money, and presently I have an unusable crib unless I take time out of my 12 hour working day and go to the trouble they should be going to. Whatever happened to customer service? If Delta Products doesn't send me the parts over night at no cost, I will seek more resolve. I'll hire a handyman to do the work and send Babies R Us and Delta Products the bill for his time and mine!
