The BAAD Story - (BAAD stands for Brian And Anna Dietert) BAAD Marine Supply, LLC was started in 2007 initially as a canvas products company to fill a need for boaters and our neighbors in the Bayou Vista area. After some initial growing pains (no sales), we looked for a niche spot to fill that was missing from the fishing and boating industry. The result was providing a mobile tackle store to tournament anglers and customers along the Texas Coast. We would load the trailer with all types of lures and products and follow the various Redfish and Trout Tournament series to provide the anglers with the quality fishing tackle that they needed. This was s successful model and as time went on we were able to identify a few key products that were not the quality professional anglers required. From here the Knotty Hooker brand was created to provide the highest quality components available to several terminal products (Jig Heads). In addition, the acquisition of the Pro-O2 Oxygen systems was completed and the business plan was set.
