best outdoor venue, awesome music, great location 8/11/2008

Yes, you can find a whole lotta hipsters here, but where aren't you going to run into hipsters in Brooklyn?! Chilled out summer scene 5/7/2008

With the weather getting warmer I can think of only one place that blew my mind last year so thoroughly that I've just gotta make it my permanent hangout this year. I know that this season's first event at the Yard is coming soon on May 24th. And if its anything like last summer... it'll be another season of ear-blasting tunes, liquor-soaked conversations at the picnic tables in the shade and a veritable cultural explosion in a locale where it seems trees and green grass have found a place to thrive amidst the concrete jungle and industrial wasteland that envelope the outlying area. An oasis in the asphalt desert for sure. more
