During the delivery of my new washer and dryer from B&B Appliance Co., an inexperienced technician broke our shut-off valve; our laundry room was flooded; my uncovered appliances were put in the dirty street while an adjacent neighbor sprayed chemicals on his lawn; and the B&B salesman was rude and abrasive to me on the phone. I wrote a letter of complaint one week later to the main B&B office in Euclid and got no response. Today, almost one month later after I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, B&B Appliance indicated that I am now going to receive a response to my letter and a $25 gift card. Just a warning to anyone purchasing appliances or electronics. A company like B&B may advertise themselves as being family-owned and therefore able to give better service than larger corporate owned companies, but the management of B&B obviously does not care about the inconveniences they caused my family. Therefore, from now on I will stick to Sears, Best Buy, or Home Depot, companies from whom I have always received excellent service.
