I love to support local businesses. That's why I chose B&G Cyclery in Round Lake on Rollins when it was time to get my son's very first custom built skateboard for his eighth birthday! Tammy is one of the family members that helped my son build his very own custom Element skateboard. They have a board building price...about $130 for a top of the line skateboard. You can choose what brand deck you want...think Bam or Element and go from there. Then they actually sit there and help you build your skateboard right with you. You pick the colors and everything. The kids love this and also learn how to take care of their boards. He was so excited about the process and it made him feel like a grown up buying his first car!! Two thumbs way up for this business!! They also carry top of the line bikes as well!! more
