I went to Beacon restaurant during restaurant week and what a wonderful time we had. Not only they offered one of the better menu selections in town but their staff was so accommodating with all of the requests we had; they even gave me dessert of the regular menu because I was really intrigued by it. But let me start from the beginning: We were greeted by miss New York (I found out about it later) who apparently works as a hostess at Beacon, and even though we were 25 min early for our reservation she brought us to our table and the party started. After all the roasted oysters (yum yum) and the tenderest filet mignon I have had in ages, then chocolate chip souffle. Staff was so warm and accommodating and sommelier poured a glass of wine with each course for only $9.00.
