Thanks Bud for the beautiful remodel you did on my bathroom. Yes, he has a Contractors License and a Bond to do the work. He is back working himself and running his company the way he set it up 6 years ago. It's a shame that family members took advantage of him when he was not working and turned around and stole from him and then opened up their own business. Anyone who knows Bud, knows that he is an honorable man who stands behind his work. He stepped out of his business in June 2007 to let his family run the business. Prior to that he had a spotless record and anyone can check that out with the Contractors Board which I did prior to him doing my work. So Bud I wish you well on getting back on your feet and your business up and running the way you had hoped it would when you stepped down. Anyone who would like to see the remodel I would be more than happy to show it to you. Pros: excellent work Cons: none more

This sleazy 'contractor' is currently SUSPENDED by the Contractors State License Board for not having a bond or Workers Compensation insurance yet continues to operate as a 'contractor' with employees, all of it's current behavior is ILLEGAL. This information can be easily confirmed with the cslb.ca.gov DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH B&D CONSTRUCTION. There are many other qualified and legal contractors out there. My husband used to work here . Was never paid the wage he was promised on hire . Employees are disgruntled for this reason . Office staff , one in particular, spends the majority of her time chasing married men around the property , when bosses aren't present . She appears very hard working when bosses are there . Married ladies be warned . As far as their work , when would they have time to concentrate on that, with all that is going on there . Some of these workers are good men , but with shoddy management and whacked out office staff , the company can't succeed . There's a cancer growing in this business .Yes, the manager does know what the office staff is doing while he's away . You might even conclude that he approves of it since he does nothing to stop it . I've rarely seen a company run in such a unprofessional manor. more

This company is terrible about return calls. They don't show up when they say they will. They have left siding off my house for over a week that they took down. I have had to call them back to fix siding for 2 years and it has been 2 years since I signed a contract with them for BRAND NEW SIDING. Honestly it has NEVER looked BRAND NEW. The owner will avoid you like the plague if you call and then tell you he never got the message. OK then .. must be a bad office staff, I know I called the right number and spoke to someone in the office who assured me they would give my message to the owner. This has gone on long enough .. bad service all the way around. AVOID AVOID AVOID more
