Editorial review from Citysearch 10/8/2012

Buyer beware, website says 14 day return policy. In store there are no returns, only exchanges, even if the exchanged for item is not in stock! LowePro belt I bought was too big, once the bags were put on it, empty at that, it kept sliding off my waist. I was told basically tough luck. more

WOW 3/21/2011

I went to B&C, and thought it went out of business. But it had moved just a few doors over. I walked in, and thought first I was in a different camera store, not B&C. It was awesome. I mean I was totally blown away. This has to be the best camera store in Las Vegas. It's all out with the old in with the new. The Nordstrom of camera stores, with the same great prices. New things and a comfortable atmosphere, the best selection of lenses I have ever seen, the guy working on Sunday (Bill) was so helpful and made my lens selection for me, and am so happy, Thank you bill if you ever see this. I will be back. Makes you want to hang around for a while. more

B C CANERA 8/4/2010

B C CAMERA is a great place to buy a camera and the prices are good too. Joe is a very patient and helpfull with beginners. I bought a Nikon D 3000 and love how simple it is to use. He also has PHOTO CLASSES at a modest price, can not wait to go. Very pleased I stopped by !!! more

a great Nikon store 1/9/2010

Found this store online. Took a shot and went in. Store seemed small at first, but the owner was likeable and really knowledgable about Nikon. Turns out he is a serious photographer and was willing to spend time helping me. I've since bought lots of Nikon gear and wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommended! Pros: knowledgable owner who is a photographer more

Best Camera store in Las Vegas 10/21/2009

I have purchased 3 camera bodies and numerous lenses and accessories at this store. They are not just after the sale, but always place the customer first and give you all the info that you need to make the best choice. The informal Saturday sessions, where local photographers meet and hang out, have been a great source of education and are well worth the time for anyone interested in photography. What a great store! I'm glad it is in Las Vegas. Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable owner & staff; nice inventory Cons: None that I can think of more

Personal service, professional quality, superb support. 10/17/2009

I recently started my own photography business and found in B&C Camera a great combination of a new, knowledgeable owner (Joe) who stocks top quality equipment and accessories and provides a friendly, professional atmosphere to make a purchase or ask a question about a product or technique. Joe is a photographer who knows his business and products and gives his personal attention to every person who walks in the door. I can browse or buy equipment anywhere, but I like that Joe focuses on teaching me a little more about photography so I can make better selections for my business. What else is special about B&C Camera? Their Saturday 'social hour' (which runs most of the day), where anyone in the store is welcome to 'talk shop' with local photographers who are very willing to share their opinions, expertise and experience. This is a highlight of my week because I always learn something new to help me grow as a photographer, and I've made some really nice friends to go out and shoot with. Pros: Upgraded store and products, customers are first! Cons: Too many cool toys on my wishlist more

Impressed 10/13/2009

I am new to Photography, and have been everywhere in town. I am very easily intimidated, but when I walked into this store, I felt like I was the most important person in the world. The people in the store where nice and all the other customers were even helping me out. It was a fun experience. And Joe the owner, wow, what a great guy, he was the first person that was able to sell me a camera. They really have some cool stuff, I know that I will be able to go back and get all the help I need. Pros: First Class Service Cons: Humm.......Thinking Still more

New owner is very helpful and knowledgeable 10/10/2009

I went in spite of the review by mmglv mainly because the store is more convenient for me than the other store in town. I was pleased to find a friendly owner who was able to supply me with exactly what I was looking for at a decent price. He took time to show me new products and warned me of upcoming price increases on future items (due to the decline of the US dollar). His prices on bodies and lenses are comparable to online dealers. All in all a very good experience. I will be back. Pros: Nice selection of Canon gear and plenty of gadgets Cons: It is not Best Buy...oh wait that's a PRO more

There are WAY better places in Vegas to go to 3/19/2009

Other than the chains and big box stores, there are three higher end camera stores in Vegas and B&C is one of them. Of the three, they are without question the worst. I'm a professional photographer and every time I go in there and ask a few questions, the German woman who owns the store acts like she's doing me a favor just talking to me. When I price match their prices against other shops in town, theirs are, without question, substantially more money and they often don't carry supplies that photographers want, just what the owner likes which is really stupid. I've gone in there for all sorts of different basics that you would think a camera shop would carry (simple flash diffusers, monopods, camera backpacks, etc.) and their supply is either non-existant, very small, or extremely expensive. It really pays to shop around. Pros: Medium amount of inventory Cons: abrasive sales staff, exorbitant prices! more

You get what you pay for! 2/27/2009

Good quality stuff is generally more expensive. For my Nikon and Nikkor lens, photo paper, etc - they have the best prices and the things I am looking for. Pros: Knowledgeable staff, quality products, NOT a Walmart! Cons: This is not a discount store. more

More expensive than ANYONE 12/6/2008

If you REALLY need something today, and they are the only one that has it, and you don't mind spending extra money - then maybe buy something from here. If not, DON'T. They are more expensive than ANYONE - not just online retailers, every store, local or otherwise, period. Pros: It's a store. Cons: It's more expensive than ANY other store. more
