So I take my LG 55" in for a diagnostic because it was having issues. I assume that there was a diagnostic fee to be charged to tell me what the problem is... nope... 2 weeks later I go in to see the status of the TV cause I haven't heard from them. The note attached to the ticket says... $108 for the board, 50 labor. When asked which board was the issue, they said they didn't know and won't tell me. The rest of the note mentioned there may be additional costs if that didn't fix the problem. I get a call from a guy later in the day who says... "nope. Are you crazy? We aren't going to tell you what the problem is with it so you just go buy parts yourself." So I said... then fix it. His response was then ,"I don't know it the guy will fix it now or not." This all sounds pretty crazy so I look for reviews on this place online... yep... Each one of these reviews are 100% accurate. So I go in with my friend and pick up the tv... I mention I'm just taking it to Kapatronics here in bloomington because of the poor ratings and the way they run business... Their response, "well YOU get a 1 out of 5 rating for coming in thinking that you were going to get the answer to what was wrong with it!" Okay... call me old school but if you take your car into the shop and ask them to diagnose an issue... they usually tell you for a diagnostic fee and you have the right to have it serviced there or at another place. There is nothing... I repeat nothing good about this place.... stay the heck away! Worst customer service ever!
