I have only been to Azemi once, but I know I will definitely return because of the fantastic experience I had with Mallory as my stylist! She did exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have been happier with the results. I highly recommend going to Azemi, although it is a little pricey it is definitely worth it! And I would absolutely recommend Mallory to everybody I know! She was easy to talk to, very focussed, and listened to exactly what I wanted! I wouldn't go anywhere else! more

I had a great experience from Azemi Salons, I say this because i was a client of Mallory Puniak and i can say she is a very good stylist, she is starting herself out this year as a stylist. I was very pleased with my experience, she was extremely outgoing, very easy to hold conversation with. Not only was my cut and color very pleasing to me, all of my friends and peers loved it! I am definitely going back to her! she is great, does great work with hair, and is very sweet. i highly suggest going here, i have not had a better experience anywhere else! more

Great salon recommended to me by a friend. Had been having trouble finding a new stylist. Mallory was very patient since I`m quite particular about my hair. She listened to what I wanted and I walked out with exactly what I had asked for.The color was perfect and the haircut lasted me awhile before needing trimmed. I received multiple compliments. The rest of the staff was very friendly and professional. I definately will and have returned and recommended Mallory to multiple people I work with who also have been very happy with the results.Keep up the good work! more

All I wanted was a bang trim, asked to leave them on the longer side and not blunt! What did I get, blunt bangs and they are so short, they are almost to my hairline! I also have never been charged $15 before gratuity to cut my bangs! You know its bad when your 6 year old says ""If that is what it looks like when you get your bangs cut, I'm leaving mine long!"" Enough said, avoid Mallory like the plague!!!! more

Went to Azemi Salon today and I loved the results!. Dri was fantastic with my curly hair and clearly looked at ease while styling and cutting it. I've gone to many places in Pittsburgh that claimed to be good with curls, but this is by far the best. Will definitely come back! more

I went to Azemi Salon after being with the same stylist for many years. My previous stylist never listened to what I wanted to do with my hair. Upon entering the salon, I was greeted not only by the receptionist, but also the owner, Dri. Everyone was very welcoming and I was made to feel very comfortable. Dri sat me down and asked questions about my lifestyle and what I wanted from a haircut. He then proceeded to style my hair. I have NEVER had someone take that amount of time on my hair. He was a perfectionist and made sure I was completely happy with my style! I would recommend this salon to everyone! I know I have found the perfect fit! more

Having not had a hair stylist that I felt comfortable and connected enough to be very loyal, I had taken to salon jumping and basically neglect of my hair for the past two years. Finally, as my locks hung limp and frayed, I looked in the mirror one morning and decided I had had enough. I wanted to be committed and loyal to healthy hair, but I needed to find my hair guru first. I set out in the car, determined to find the right match. When I arrived at Azemi I was warmly welcomed at the reception and was told that Shannon could see me for a consultation.The fact that they took me on the spot, gratis, already had Azemi and Shannon in a favorable position. I immediately loved Shannon's professionalism and sincerity. What won me over was her confidence and concise answers to my questions. She knew exactly what she wanted to do with my hair, taking into consideration my lifestyle and face shape and my ultimate vision for my dream hair (Victoria's Secret model hair...why not dream big, right?). When I went back to schedule my appointment, I was sure I'd have to wait another 3 weeks or so to get in. Again, I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to fit me in for that Saturday. Sure enough, Shannon did not disappoint when it came to the actual day of cutting and coloring. My hair looks healthy, shiny, and natural. My blowout was by far the best I have ever had. I have found my new hair color guru and look forward to many years of loyal patronage. Thanks Shannon!! more

My oldest daughter recommended Lindsey at Azemi Salon because she loves long hair and so do I. Lindsey does a fabulous job!! Why go short when long can look so darn good??!! I highly, highly recommend Lindsey for adults and children. She also cuts my 6 year olds hair that is waist length. Love her! more

I made Azemi my new salon about a year ago when I had a bad experience elsewhere with color. Azemi has what they call ""color specialists"" Well my color specialist was not a specialist at all. My color looked like a bottle of red was poured on my roots. My highlights were applied incorrectly because it already looked like I had re-growth when I got home. I complained the first time this happend and received a small credit after a bit of an argument with Shannon who is not a friendly person, rather a bitch. My color turned out just awful again which was the last straw after paying $150 for color and a cut. Azemi is not an inviting salon, somewhat cold and dull. The staff needs lessons in professionalism, and they need more training in color application. I now have beautiful color and highlights after switching to a reputable salon in the Wexford Plaza. more

I just started going to this salon this year because of moving up north and I wish I would have known about it sooner. Thanks also to citysearch. Its about time I write a review since I just got my hair done today :) I am extremely happy with my stylist and the proffessional enviroment there. My hair has never looked better and everyone who asks I recommend going to Azemi Salons. The stylist knew exactly what to to with my hair and how it fits my face and my skin tone, and its always perfection. Trust me you won't be dissapointed! 5 stars all the way :) more

I used a Groupon for a Spa Mani Pedi (pd $30) for a value of $63 and totally wasted my money. The girl was worst than a child. She didnt bother to shape my nails, file smooth, or even clean up my cuticles. I knew was was in trouble when she painted half of my nail white to acheive a FRENCH manicure. She kept trying to get a straight line, it never happened. She informed me my toes were too small to do a french( which I have had done this way for 10 or more yrs). She made a mess of both my big toes and managed to cut me when she was clipping my cuticles. I was polite and paid the $10 upcharge over the groupon for this mess. So $40 later, I am removing this mess and going to another nail salon tomorrow. This salon needs to hire a qualified nail tech and fast! more

I have been going to Mandi for over 5 years now! She just switched Salons within the past 3 weeks. She is now working for Azemi. She keeps moving further and further and since she does a FABULOUS job I keep following her. If you are looking for a new Salon and Hair Stylist I recommend Mandi and Azemi. They are so welcoming and there to make your experience amazing. Dri the owner is there to answer any questions you may have and make sure you are receiving top notch service. Another bonus Azemi, is in a brand new shopping plaza with restaurants and shops if you are waiting for your appointment and convient to 279! more

I've been going to Dri for seven years. He is the absolute best with naturally curly hair. Dri knows how to cut naturally curly hair, unlike so many others. He is the best at straigtening and styling my curly locks. Dri is an expert in his field. more

I went in and wanted something new to add life to my dull hair. I left with beautiful highlights and a great new style. All of the staff are very welcoming and definitely go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.They gave me great advice on my hair and also answered my skin care questions. I found this salon here at Citysearch and welllll am I pleased that I did. I'm about to give birth next week and wanted to get waxed for my delivery. Not only was my waxing lady thorough, but she made the whole experience incredibly comfortable, especially in my state. She knew how to make me feel both welcomed and beautiful. This treatment has changed my life! I chose the Keratin treatment after a strand test and consultation. Dri spent a lot of time with me, explaining the different hair straightening options, ensuring that I understood the price, care requirements, and possible effects of each choice. In just a few hours, my hair went from frizzy and coarse to straight and silky. Dri and his awesome staff are so fun to be around. They are an amazing team of warmth and professionalism. This place is really different then any other salon that I have been to in this area. They have a really upbeat and relax atmosphere all in the same time, don't know how that works but it is awesome, everyone is very friendly. Kathleen who has done my hair is wonderful. She really listens to what you want and does just that! They will wax your eye brows while having your hair conditioned and I have had hand massages also while waiting for my color to develop. It is a nice relaxing service. I love it! I have found my salon.? more

From the reception area to the hair salon/spa, it was exactly what my husband and I needed - a day of pampering. The staff is professional and wonderful at what they do. Pros: From quality of service they are all as a team, perfect. Cons: they are the best, no cons more
