We decided to try this restaurant based off Citysearch Reviews, and it was our first time trying Afghani food. We were worried at first (not sure what to order, and what it'd taste like), but after the warm, hospitable welcome by the staff and the first bite, all our worries melted away!\r

From the dishes we tried, Afghani food is pure delectable delights! There's some influences of Persian and Indian, but it stands on its own as well. We started off w/ the Sambosas appetizers (essentially similar to Indian Samosas), with a Ground Lamb marinated filling. It was very tasty. Then came our 2 entrees: A Lamb Eggplant Stew (Badenjan Challaw) and the Lamb Shish-kabobs (Kabob-e-Gousfand). Let me just say: It was AWESOME! :) The Badenjan Challaw (Lamb Stew) was filled with so much love and care, the Lamb meat literally melting in your mouth, soft, and extremely tender! I was truly blown away. The Lamb Kabobs were very well done as well, but naturally firmer than the Lamb Stew. But the quality of the meat, the spices and flavors, as well as the wonderful fragrant Rice+Herbs sealed the deal! \r

For 2 of us, the Appetizer and 2 Entrees were more than enough (and I'm a big eater)! The interior decoration was charming and warm, and I'm more than excited to come back again very soon. A+!
Pros: Amazing Lamb Stew; Great distinct Food
Cons: Slightly pricey
