I had a facial here, the robe looked like it had been worn by someone else before me, the therapist and everyone else seemed to be in a hurry ! I was going to add other services but after their hurried attitude decided to leave. Very noisily chatting among themselves! more

Been having massages at Ayna every 3-4 weeks for the past year or so. The Tuesday price special is a bonus, but the key is the quality of the massage. I currently always see Ausra who is amazing. Had many mediocre massages in my life. Don't bother with those ... go to Ausra (Davina was good too but, alas, she is no longer at Ayna). Front desk staff are always wonderful. They are attentive, efficient, helpful, and never leave you hanging. If you aren't familiar with massage, they will explain. The decor is not my favorite, but who cares. Note: Can't understand why anyone would give this place 1 star. It's always quiet, they never use too much oil, if the sound of a little squirt of oil bothers you, maybe you need head therapy instead. more

First off, let me just say that this spa was absolutely beautiful! I've been to several spas in my day and the feel of this place was so different. Between the decor and the friendly faces, it was definately a place I could call home. I recieved a SpaFinder gift card from my husband for Christmas and searched right away for a place near lombard. I can't believe I hadn't tried this place before. I started off with a Manicure and Pedicure...I believe her name was Sally - and she was great! Very friendly, and 2 weeks later my hands and my feet STILL look great. She took almost 2 hours, which might sound excessive but it was wonderful. And the price was very reasonable. I then went on to my haircut and blowdry which was done by Rebecca. LOVED her! My hair looks fantastic, and she styled it great, but also gave me tips for my at home routine. The receptionist seemed very busy, but it wasn't a problem because she acknowledged me right away and said she'd just be a moment. Overall it was a fantastic experience! I'll definately be going back. more

My husband bought me a gift certificate for the day at the spa for my birthday and I thought that the day would go by very slow. Boy was i wrong!! My first impression when I walked in was "WOW", the place is gorgeous! The staff was extrememly friendly and the services were absolutely divine. I started out with a deep tissue (Davina was my therapist and all I can say is that you really need to visit her!) and went in to a facial. I had the Skin Brightening Facial which includes a peel and I was elated when I saw my skin. I then went on to a manicure and pedicure and ended with a blow out. I also received a complimentary make up application before I walked out the door. The day was nothing short of perfect. I can't wait to get back in there for the other services that they offer! more

I had a great experience at this salon and spa. I was welcomed with smiles. I started off with a massage which was relaxing and rejuvenating. I then ended with a haircut that I have never been soo complimented on! The stylist that cut my hair has a cute name, Chiara and I will be sure to go back to her! I reccomend this place to everyone, you can get everything done in one shot. Saves a lot of time and gas! more

The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and so my first impression was this is going to be a great experience. Well as I was getting the actual massage there were people talking the whole time in a near by room, though I felt like they were in the room with us. The room was like a freezer, I had to ask for another blanket and I was still freezing. The oil dispenser was very disturbing throughout the whole massage. The therapist used a lot of oil. The place needs to invest in a quieter way for the therapist to retrieve the oil during the massage. I asked the therapist if there were showers so I could rinse off after the massage, nope, no showers, so she offered me a towel. All in all, I would never return and I would never tell anyone to go to this spa. more
