Disorganized 10/9/2009

I have been using this services for 5 years through 2 houses, and I have similar complaints but, they are cheaper than Waste Management and more reliable than all the Mom and Pop companies that are in Marion County. If you call and get the persons name when you call you will see results. I think in the beginning they had a lot going on trying to get the business started. Give them another chance and they will save you some money. more

Horrible Service 9/13/2008

My experience has been similar to the other poster's...I paid for service and have gotten nothing for the month and a half I've been with them. They say they're sorry and that they'll call the supervisor to come pick the trash up, but nothing ever happens. Don't go with this company unless you absolutely have to, and then, get a contract in writing! more

bad service 2/27/2007

We have been with Alternative Waste Service since 1999 always paid our bill on time but the last few months they don't pick up on our day, and when I call they LIE and say they will call truck and pick it up. The bad thing is we have to roll our cans out to the road (quite a distance) and can't leave it for 2 more days as the dogs and other critters get into it. I do not think this will ever make it for others to read so I am lodging a complaint with the BBB.........Ginger more
