Before you dismiss my review, keep in mind that I am Italian, and my grandmother is a fantastic Italian cook, who is actually *from* Italy. I went here with my boyfriend, wanting pizza. It is not all that evident, when you arrive in the dark, that there are two separate restaurants here. This means that if I want pizza and he wants lasagna, too bad, you can't have it both ways. They don't serve pizza on their restaurant side. So I ordered the tortellini in ""pesto"" with sundried tomatoes. I have never seen anything that resembles pesto less. My German-Irish mother makes better pesto than that. I couldn't even taste basil in it. The lasagna was equally bad. My boyfriend said it tasted like it came out of a frozen meal box. The salad was made of limp, white iceberg lettuce, whose color was undifferentiated from the cheese on top of it until I bit into it. An unwelcome surprise, indeed.\r

Don't even get me started on the service. The hostess said ""hold on"" and gossiped with the bartender for 5 minutes before seating us, then the waitress acted all annoyed when I asked for a list of their beverages, which were not listed on the menu. She acted annoyed again when I asked her to repeat the salad dressings, which were not on the menu. In fact, it did not even say entrees come with a salad. The waitress forgot to take our order, clearly looking all around the dining room and clearing off all the empty tables before scurrying back over to us and laughing. She got tired of being a waitress in the middle of serving us and decided to take off her apron. Not only that, but the entire time we were eating, the kitchen slammed their door open against my boyfriend's seat, about 30 times. We will never go back there again.
Pros: Cool posters
Cons: Tasteless food, Bad service, Noisy kitchen, Rude hostess
