I like the store because it a local family owned store been around for many years and they are very friendly.The store is very small so it is crowed.Their prices are competitve.They will order things for you if they don't have it.They have lots of hard to find items in stock. PROS: close to home & great prices CONS: small and crowed more

Avenue Hardware 9/15/2005

This place has PLENTY of stuff and the sales people are nice and helpful. It is very convenient to have this place in Ventura so I don't have to drive to Oxnard to get stuff. The prices are fair. Of course it isn't Home Depot, but it has enough variety and stock. They are bilingual. They will order stuff they don't have in stock. more
