WOW!!!! That's the best way to describe my experience. I bought a Groupon for 2 Brazilian bikini waxes. I have always gotten them but was looking for a great new place. This place is wonderful. NISA IS THE BEST!!! It hurt less than usual, took only 30 minutes and she got every last hair out, even some stray hairs on my inner thighs (I know, TMI, but I am totally bald on my legs from the knees up and sometimes have some weird stray hairs in my inner thighs that no waxer ever includes as part of the Brazilian and I never feel like paying for a leg wax when it's just a couple strays). I HIGHLY recommend this salon for Brazilian bikini waxes. more

Get new ownership. Michael was a great stylist but he is not there anymore and neither is the owner. It was sold to another stylist who lacks talent and manners. more

It was my first time there and Bobby colored my hair. Service was not good from the start. He did not pay much attention to me, instead he was chatting with an old client next to me. Maybe he thought that since I was an out of towner, I might not return. In the middle of blowdrying my hair, he handed me the blowdryer, said why don't you finish it, and walked away. I was speechless. Nonetheless, I still tipped him, maybe he won't treat the next out of towner the way he treated me. I called Mark the next day and told him what happened. He said Bobby isn't a stylist, and I didn't pay for a blowout. An assistant should have dry my hair. I have NEVER heard of any salon where a customer gets handed a blowdryer and told to do it yourself. I have had my hair colored at other salons and blowdrying is part of the deal. By the way, I have short straight hair, and it would take less than ten minutes to dry it. more

Michael at Essa Salon is an artist! I have been a client of Michael's for 10+ years and have never doubted his opinions and suggestions. The reason is because he's always been honest with me. If I ever brought him a picture of a particular style or color that I wanted to try, he would never hesitate to say either ""that would look great on you"" or "" that's not the right style or color for your face shape / skin type"". For a brief period of time, Michael moved out of state and I was lost! I searched for a replacement and after trying many different reputable stylists, I finally gave up. No one came close to bringing the same knowledge or honesty to the table. Finally he moved back and my hair was once again looking its best! Michael keeps himself current on the latest styles and trends which enables him to keep on top of an ever changing industry. I LOVE MY MICHAEL and so will you! more

I have been having my hair done by Michael Pistone for years. He has seen me through a lot of style changes with grace and professionalism. Thank goodness I found him when I did or there would be no telling what my hair would look like now. He makes me feel like the best me I can be. I can not live without him! I get compliments on my hair wherever I go and recommend him to everyone. He is the greatest! more

I have been jumping around from salon to salon for years trying to find someone who could get it right. AT LAST!!! I finally found Michael at Essa. He's great. I never felt that my hair was perfect until the first time he did it. more
