Pleasant environment 4/5/2011

The AvantGard setting for manicures/pedicures is so relaxing! I had great service from reception through treatment. While the price is higher than average, it is a nice treat once in awhile. I would get a massage too, but don't want to have to trek across the parking lot... more

Pedicures At AvantGard Spa 4/3/2011

Vanty is simply amazing and the pedicures at AG spa are beyond fabulous! The service is great, the ambience is very relaxing and my pedicures last and last. Great OPI color selection, wonderful massage and Vanty is very gentle. She is the best! Yes, the pedi I get is a bit on pricey side (with tip comes to $62.00) but to me it is worth every penny. more

Not great. 4/2/2011

I was disappointed. I didn't like the products used. My face looked greasy afterward. I filled out the form ahead of time, listed my sensitive skin and I wear contacts. I don't think she even read it. I saw her put it to the side immediately and never picked up the clipboard again. She got product in my eyes caused burning for almost the entire second half of the facial. The product stung my skin. Normally I get a little neck message with a facial. Instead she ran her fingers through my scalp and hair, it was very uncomfortable. i would not recommend your services to anyone. Sorry more

Body Harmony 3/28/2011

I was given the Body Harmony package by husband for Christmas. The body treatment and massage were FABULOUS! The mani & pedi were average. I will definitely go back. The appointment booking staff was not very efficient. more

Great massage! 3/28/2011

I had my first massage at Avant Gard this weekend and it was amazing! I had only been in the nail salon before this. The setting was beautiful and Matt did a fantastic job. Not a 5 star rating only because I wish they had a locker room with a shower for after wards. I will definitely be back! more

Facial and Massage 3/24/2011

Michelle's facial was amazing. Not only did my face feel amazing and clean when she finished the facial, but the next day, my face still looked great. My massage therapist was also excellent. She was very careful to avoid my sensitive areas and checked on my comfort during the massage. more

Very good services,(massage, facial, manicure, pedicure). Services delivered by very competent professionals. Interior of main spa could use some "freshening up", with a lighter, airier feeling, instead of a dark enviornment. Will come again. more

Another Wonderful Service 3/12/2011

I had an 80 minute massage with Letitia, and it was wonderful. I have never been disappointed with any service offered at the spa and continue to recommend their services to friends and family. I have been going to to them for over 10 years. Blanca, the owner, has a wonderful sense about creating a serene place. The services and products offered constantly evolve with the seasons, so there is always something wonderful to try. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. more

Most wonderful pedicure! 3/11/2011

Avant Garde's pedicure is a true SPA experience. I love being welcomed by a warm neck pillow and healthy, yummy snacks. The entire setting is serene, un-rushed, clean, and peaceful, and the pedicure itself is amazing! The professionals at Avant Garde give long, relaxing leg and foot massages, invigorating scrubs, and perfect polish application. They always make me feel pampered and a little spoiled! By far, the best pedicure EVER! more

Poor service quality for the upscale price 3/9/2011

Service is over rated and only barely mediocre, always trying to sell something to fleece you out of your hard earned money. I always broke out after a facial treatment, I thought it was just a fluke but after three visits I was convinced that they may have some unsanitary practices in question so I immediately stopped going there. The brow lady does not take directions very well either and always trims according to her desires and not the customer's. I highly discourage anyone who is even contemplating on this establishment. Find another spa/salon, you owe it to yourself. more
