Avante Laser & MediSpa - The Woodlands

I am a long time customer of Avante and have had only the absolute best experience with them. They are very professional and friendly and do their very best to work around all types of busy schedules. There is no other place that I would trust for my skin services. I regularly get laser hair removal and am planning on taking part in their injectable offerings as soon as the need arises. I also trust their expert opinions in skin care and treatments. The "oxygen facial" (I think that is what it is called) was outstanding and the skin evaluation is very eye opening. I recommend Avante to everyone I know that is looking for skin and body treatment options! more

We have been going to Avante in The Woodlands since its inception which is over 6 years. Every member of my family has been seen at Avante, which includes my son, my daughter, my husband, and myself. We are very pleased with both laser and electrolysis. We have all seen Maryanne Urban during this period, but , my daughter has recently also seen Ann. They are very respectful of one's privacy in the delicate matters. It is a very comfortable setting. Scheduled appointments are prompt. I would and have recommended to several people. more

I have used spas all over the North Houston, and the world for that matter -- for years -- some good, some NOT so good. I have used Avante for a little over a year. First with Patricia for reflexology - AMAZING. I had a so-called reflexology treatment in LosAngeles that was a joke, compared to Patricia. Patricia has a gift of touch and healing -- simply wonderful technique and knowledge of the human body. My daughter and I went today for facials, (and i treated her to reflexology by Patricia -- she LOVED it!!) We also found Hope Harris and Becky to be top notch skin care experts with our facials. Hope was incredibly knowledgeable and customized my facial to meet my current needs after taking a look at my skin before treatment-- a little oily, sensitive and needed some extractions. In other words, it wasnt some cooker cutter treatment that everyone who walks thru the door gets -- it was specifically to treat my needs for the condition of my skin on that day . Becky assisted my daughter, and was described as "incredible" and "amazing". I would not hesitate to recommend this spa to anyone. Each time I go, whether I use someone I am familiar with, or get to use someone I have not yet met, they are fantastic. I am conviced that the people who work there are carefully hand picked by the owners -- not just anyone who thinks they can "do" skin works there -- these people are experts. I have been going to Avante in The Woodlands for nearly 2 years now and it is my holy grail for skincare. Becky has done wonders for my skin and I cannot thank her enough. I have oily/acneic skin and all of my previous aestheticians (I can name at least 10 by name) have used harsh acids (salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, etc.) to try to "burn" the acne off. The more I used those products, the worse my skin became and the cycle continued. After my first visit with Becky a few years ago, she switched me off all of those harsh chemicals and used the Pevonia Rosacea line on me and my skin has never felt better. Becky really understands my skin, which is why I refuse to go anywhere else because no one believes me when I say I have "oily, sensitive and sometimes acneic skin." The facials at Avante are one-of-a-kind and extremely effective. They start with two cleansings of the skin, exfoliation (Pevonia's enzyme peel smells sooooooo good), manual extractions (with the help of a lancet), high frequency machine to destroy all the bacteria, facial massage, mask, massage of the arms/hands and shoulders, followed by toner and moisturizer/sunscreen. I go see Becky every 4 weeks and my skin has never felt better. Avante also offers packages (buy 5 facials and get one free for a total of 6 facials) and they keep good records of when you go in so you always get credited for 6 facials. They do NOT push products at all and I am thankful for that but I am now using Pevonia exclusively -- but the ladies at Avante never ever push their products or other services because their reputation is enough. They are all so personable and the new facial rooms in The Woodlands are SO relaxing and secluded. I would highly recommend going to see Becky if you are having skin issues that other aestheticians are unable to resolve. My experience was great at Avante! Being a guy, I was a little hesistant (embarrassed) to even call about laser hair removal. But after calling them, I was put totally at ease. When I came for my first appointment there were other men in the waiting area, which made me feel better right off the bat. I hated the hair on my back, to the point I wouldn't even take off my shirt. I can't believe how laser has changed my life. It's so great to not even think about the hair anymore. I had called around to several places inquiring about laser hair removal and had just about decided to not have it done and then I called Avante. I can't begin to tell you the difference. The staff was so knowledgable and helpful and they made me feel so comfortable and that was just on the phone. I was a little nervous about having my first treatment (my bikini area), but they made it so easy. I have now decided to have my underarms lasered. If the results are anything like my bikini, then I know I will be thrilled. I have wanted to do this for years and the results are everything and more than I expected. Thanks Avante!!
