Awesome Place for Hair! 11/30/2010

Avant is a great place to go get your hair done! I recently received a Keratin treatment here by Joel and so far have absolutely loved the outcome! I was skeptical at first about this treatment, as I had never had it done before but after a consultation beforehand with Joel I felt pretty confident about it. Joel really knows what he's talking about when it comes to your hair. He is very easy to communicate with and provides great new ideas and styles. If you're looking for a great hair place in the Seabrook area I would highly recommend this salon! more

The Best Place for Haircuts 6/2/2010

Seabrooks Best Hair Salon 5/10/2010

I have been coming to see Joel for over a year now and i love him. He does exceptional work and is a lot of fun to chat with during the long process of highlighting my long hair. I would suggest anyone to give him a shot. I'm very picky and have always been very satisfied with his work. It took a long time to find someone with his expertis. The Best of the Best 4/20/2010

Joel is the creme de la creme of hairdressers. I have followed Joel wherever he goes. He is phenomenal. He is the best hair cutter around and talk about blow drying - I am sure you never had your hair look so good. Perfection at its best. Don't waste time looking for the right person when the right person is right in front of you at Avant Hair. Joel has been doing my hair for close to 15 years and I will not go to anyone else - I am moving to Austin and I will be back for haircuts every 6 weeks. Pros: Hair done to Perfection more

For years I had been going to trendy chain salons like Toni & Guy and Visible Changes, but never left with exactly what I wanted. Usually just THEIR watered-down version of what I requested: layered, not choppy; dark brown, not black; blonde, not white. more

Joel is phenomenal! 3/10/2010

Whether you are looking for a simple style or a completely new look, Avant Hair is the place to go. Being a hairdressser myself for over a decade, I was reluctant to let anyone go near my hair with a pair of shears. After meeting Joel and putting complete faith in him and his profession, I must say my hair has never looked so fabulous. The Bay Area is very fortunate to have such a dedicated hairdresser! Those living in the Houston area I urge you to make the drive you will not be dissapointed... Pros: The salon is so close to home and easy to find! more

Great stylist 8/28/2009

I have been getting my hair colored/cut by Leanne for 4 years now. I have never had a bad color or cut. I tend to change my hair often never once has my hair broke or been fried by her. She does a GREAT job and is very talented at what she does. She cares that you hair looks good and that you are pleased with you hair. more

Avant Hair Salon 8/28/2009

I've been getting my hair colored for the last 2 years by Leann and she does an awsome job each time whether I'm getting highlights or getting it dyed all one color. She also does amazing hair cuts and actually listens to what I want done. She has great customer service skills and she does an awsome job. I will keep going to Avant as long as Leann works there and will reccomend everyone else to do the same!!! Thanks girl for making my hair beautiful! Pros: Leann is the best stylist in town! more
