Hurry and GO!!! 8/5/2011

Avalon is great, it was my first and only med spa for laser hair removal and so far, I've had three treatments. The only thing i recommend is calling at least a week in advance because they stay really busy which is a good thing but its hard to get in last minute!! Great place, and great prices. GO!! BTW ask for Meghan, she ROCKS!!! more

Thourough Nurses, Great Results 7/11/2011

Avalon Laser has been wonderful for me in two very important ways. Firstly, the people there are warm and friendly. Although going to laser appointment could be a bit unnerving, the staff always makes me feel at ease. Secondly, the treaments are very well-priced and super thorough. Whenever I want another area redone or given a second look, the staff is always willing to do so. I am very pleased with them and recommend them to all of my friends. more

No more chin hair 2/10/2011

I am dark skinned, I have thick coarse hair- I have my chin and neck treated for this most annoying and embarrasing problem. The first laser hair removal treatments treatments at Avalon Laser the only difference I noticed was that my hair was growing in finer, but I did not notice a significant change in reduction. I am on my 7th treatment and I can happily go out in public without shaving, plucking, tweezing or cutting my hair with scissors. I still have some hair growth, but no where near what I had in the past. The pain from 1-10 is a 2, they have various numbing methods which really, really help! Good luck! more

My Hairless Legs 9/21/2010

God Bless Avalon Laser, I never have to shave again. As my graduation present my parents gave me a package of laser hair removal at Avalon Laser, my mom gets her botox and photofacials there and raved about it. I patiently went through the series of treatments and now I am the happiest girl in the world, no more stubble in the morning. more

Best Laser Hair Removal Spa I've Experienced 7/14/2010

What a great experience. Had my 3rd laser hair removal done at Avalon Laser and it was much better than elsewhere. I have recently moved to San Diego and was pleasantly surprised to find this place. The staff were patient, despite my gazillion questions and took the time to explain everything. My nurse, Jen, was awesome. She really made me feel comfortable. Will definitely be back. Botox 7/11/2010

I have been getting botox for the past 5 years and never got used to the pain. well, the pain that comes with the needle poking you. the dr offered me numbing cream - which actually worked! i didnt feel a thing! my face looks amazing - very natural. i will defiantly be a repeat customer. I finally see results! 6/27/2010

I have had an IPL a while back in my hometown, so I already knew what to expect coming into a medical spa. Arrive 10 minutes early, fill out paper work, ect. ect. What impressed me to write the review is the care I received. The first question that I was asked before my treatment begun was ""if you could change anything about your skin, what would it be?"" The nurse patiently listened me out as I listed all of my trouble areas. Large pores, freckles ect. She said that the treatment will be geared towards my specific problems. After the treatment my face was a little flushed, but on the 3rd day I could actually see the size of my pores getting smaller and the freckles got a little darker, but that is expected. I even got a follow up call. :) Pros: I actually met the Dr! Cons: This place is always busy so call to book ahead! more

Love this place, i keep on coming back for more and more treatments. I started out with buying an IPL, now im doing skin tightening. Prices are great - and good specials. They really dont rip you off and are concerned with the over all experience of the client more

Dark circles are gone 5/3/2010

I came to Avalon Laser to get my IPL treatment, and during my consultation the Dr asked me what else I would like to improve. I imminently replied ""the dark circles around my eyes"" Little did I know that an IPL fixes that too! The nurse is super friendly, and so kind! Her personality is great - but most importantly she really knows what shes doing! more

Really Impressed! 4/29/2010

Just had laser hair removal on my legs and underarms. The nurse Jen was terrific, and I'm a nurse so I should know! The staff are super-friendly and worked with me to make it affordable. Really liked this place! Will definitely be back again. Pros: Great Customer Service! more

I love this place, the procedure was affordable (a little painful - but beauty is pain.) I have to say that laser hair removal is addictive, so i will be back for more. Pros: friendly doc Cons: wish i had the money to get more done more

I came to Dr. Tirgari for my lips. He did such a great job I cant stop staring at myself in the mirror!!! They look so natural, yet full and plump. Angelina Jolie has nothing on me now :) Pros: Dr does the procedure!!! more

I went to Avalon Laser to receive a consultation for laser hair removal. The nurse answered my all my questions and concerns without being pushy, which was a first. She spent time explaining the procedure itself and the length of time needed to obtain the desired result. On top of everything she was super friendly and took extra time to make the procedure comfortable. I definitely recommend this place! :) more
