Let car in a dangerous, horrible trip back from shop. Was disrespectful and berating.\r

Let us drive off with malfunctioning light. Trip home was extremely dangerous situation as the weather that day became very windy, power grid went out on our route. No lights, became very dark - It was not a good situation. \r
\r
He claimed that the car was 'fine' and 'okay to go' and said that he had test driven it earlier.\r
\r
I called on the way home - no answer and no reply to my messages since then (its been two weeks).\r
\r
I was verbally berated when I called again first thing the next morning. The mechanic was upset over a misunderstanding over pay - I apologized for the misunderstanding that happened the day before - he not only did not accept my apologies, he cut me off and continued to verbally berate me. He was literally yelling, cutting me off. I actually could not take their degree of yelling as I was in tears by that point (I do not cry that much at all). My only recourse was to hang up with a 'good day sir' over his yelling. He was literally still yelling as I hung up.\r
\r
Due to a misunderstanding on terms of the warranty that came with the car, he turned his back on myself as well as a retired senior woman of over sixty years old who ended up following him around in the garage pleading and asking to pay (as it was the right thing to do). He turned his back even as we pleaded to him to accept.\r
\r
Shame on this mechanic for endangering my family and my passengers, and for his horrible attitude, and the way he was so verbally abusive. They made me feel so awful and as if I was bothering them (he literally said 'I have no time for this, I am busy') for calling the next day and asking about a situation that left a family of people driving home from his shop in an extremely dangerous situation that nearly resulted in a life-threatening accident.\r
\r
In return, they verbally berated me, even as I was apologizing. He did not accept my apology and continued to yell at me.\r
\r
It is on their conscience that they put a family in this dangerous situation on the trip back from their shop, that they let the car go in that condition, responded in the way that they did in such a verbally berating way to women, and disrespected an over sixty year old retired woman. Shame on him and his conscience.\r
\r
Whatever makes him feel that he could talk to and treat women in this manner, whatever it is, it was unacceptable. How dangerous and scared we all were driving home - how abusive he was on the phone to me (as i was apologizing!) after that nightmare, even yelling someone to tears - it was completely unbelievable. Moreover, it was completely disrespectful to watch him treat a retired woman in the way that he did!
