Called to have them look at a rattling noise and it was fixed and I was done in less than an hour. Great service and so easy to deal with.

Worst

I dropped my car here because it broke down nearby. They defined the project as a broken timing belt and estimated about $900. My regular mechanic in Tampa offers the same service...

I dropped my car here because it broke down nearby. They defined the project as a broken timing belt and estimated about $900. My regular mechanic in Tampa offers the same service for $500. I moved the car there and begrudgingly paid a $78 inspection fee Automotive One charged to look at the vehicle. Bottom line, I'm acustomed to inspection fees ranging from $0 - $50. In this case it was a cursury inspection and it was wrong. The camshaft was frozen and the timing belt was symtomatic. Given that, I didn't think the $78 fee was really earned or warrented. However, they were very nice about the entire matter. more

Your front desk people and Larry are a pleasure to deal with. The repair work was done and it is great to drive my car again. Thank you once again for the Great service you have provided for me. I know that I can always count on my car running in tip top shape after every maitenance visit. It is a great comfort to know that I will be informed of upcoming repairs that may be a little more costly than the usual oil changes, so I can prepare for them before they become a problem. This just so happens to be the worst mechanic I have ever brought a car to. My car was not starting they said it was possible the started and it was going to be $229.00 to find out if so. So, OK I said yes, then they realized it was not the starter and that when they did a compression test that was the problem (low compression.) Then he said I basically needed a new engine ($5,500) based on these results. I said no thank you, he then had no problem charging me $550.50 for a new started and labor hat ended up not even being the problem. I then found a guy that told me it was piston rings and a couple of other problems and fixed the car for $560 dollars. So I wasted two weeks of my time, $550 dollars, and overall he was wrong about his diagnostics. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, I WAS TOLD NOT TO GIVE THE GUYS NAME WHO FIXED MY CAR for $560; BUT GO TO FIRESTONE COMPLETE IF ANYWHERE NEEDED IN LONGWOOD (400 W State Road 434, Longwood - (407) 830-5557) THEY ARE 400 TIMES BETTER THEN AUTOMOTIVE JOKE; MY FRIENDS ALL BRING THEIR CARS HERE AND THEY ALWAYS COME BACK FIXED FOR WAYYY LESS THEN AUTOMOTIVE JOKE REPAIR. SINCERELY, DISAPPOINTED! more

Automotive One is just the best!!! They have kept my 1995 Escort Wagon running as good as new for over two years. As far as the costs are concerned they are right in line with other shops but the service is so much better! more

Great job as usual. Was particularly happy that you guys stretched the warranty on the A/C compressor so we didn't have to pay full cost. Always can rely on you guys to repair right the first time. Very comfortable recommending Automotive One to others I know for any kind of auto repair. Great job, keep up the good work! more

Satisfactory Job but cost effectiveness/competitiveness need attention 7/30/2011

Car problem was diagnosed and fixed correctly. However, charged labor rate for the same task is even higher than the dealer. Although your shop is reputed one but one could have taken the car to the dealer and got it fixed there at a slightly lesser cost. Wait time to finish the job was almost double the promised time. more

I am not the only one who thinks this. Wayne Jones is my favorite technitian. My cars are pretty new and we have not needed major stuff, but he treats my wife and I like we are his most important customers. We will keep coming back. more
