No job too big or too small for them 8/1/2014

I was turned away by the big name auto repair shop that I usually go to, who told me flat out that they couldn't help me with what I needed done with my car. I had been going there forever. I called around and stumbled across Auto Tech Centers, Inc. I spoke with Andy I believe, and explained the situation to him, and that money was tight on my end. He was more than willing to help me in any way, shape, or form to get me back on the road. He told me to bring the vehicle in, and that he would give it his best recommendation. He found an open day for me, and one of the mechanics did their best to help me out. I was amazed. I thought for sure they would turn me away. Auto Tech Centers is one of those shops where no job is too big or too small. I was blown away by their ability to help me out when a big car shop couldn't help me. more

Very happy! 1/23/2014

I have been going to Auto Tech Centers for almost 30 years. I am very happy with them and have never had a problem. They fix all my cars for me. I like that they not only let me know what I need but also will let me know if I don't need something. I can't think of a bad thing to say about them. I have three daughter that live in the area and I send them there as well. more

Great! 1/22/2014

I've been using Auto Tech Centers, Inc. for probably about eight years. I first started going to them just for an oil change because they're really convenient. I pass by them twice a day, to and from work. They always do really good work, and they always are able to get me in early and get the work done quick. I've gotten really good service. I take my Corolla there, as well as my daughter's Ford Fusion. I'm very content with them! more

Great staff 1/7/2014

Auto Tech Centers did excellent service and have a great staff. I turn to Michael for all my automotive needs--it's a no-brainer. It's been about five or six years at least and they really just give you a peace of mind because they're honest and forthright. They might not be the cheapest all the time but you get what you pay for. Sean Cassidy more

Excellent service 1/3/2014

I have been coming to good year in McHenry for a long time. I have had an excellent experience with all of them. Josh is very friendly and helpful. Also the new person Jenn is very friendly and nice to all customers. I feel like coming back to your shop. Good year in McHenry does repairs only when they are needed. Thank you. more

I've been going to Auto Tech Centers for about 15 years. I had never had a problem, up until recently. I had a car that wouldn't start. I got it to start here at my work by rocking it back and forth. I went to Auto Tech, and they must have replaced everything! Well, it still didn't start. I then ran into the service manager at a grocery store one afternoon. He asked how the car was doing, and I told him. We went out into the parking lot together to take a look. Again, it wouldn't start easily. The service manager reached down, fiddled with something, and started the car with no problems. It turned out to be a loose ground wire that probably could've been fixed quickly and for just a few dollars. Even though that was an issue, I still know that I am treated well at Auto Tech Centers. They tend to prioritize well and greet you with real friendliness and warmth. I like that they know my name. more

A honest mechanic 3/18/2010

I have been looking for an honest mechanic for a long time. I brought my car here to check the brakes , they gave me a honest opinion and showed me what my brakes looked like and told me they still have some life left in them. Normally I have never had a mechanic show me anything on my car, or they would tell me that I need brakes. These guys take the time to help you understand what your car needs . more

a long time customer 5/23/2006

My parents used to take their vehicles here, and I have as well for the last 20 years. Now my daughter is a customer. I can always get in right away, the service is good. I never had any problems. I've mainly used them for my tire purchases and install. I now use them to fix my car as well, I think the car dealers prices are too high. more
