i haven't been to too many auto mechanics in provo, but i am always skeptical of them in general. my family and personal friends have all had issues from various mechanics in different areas, so i have a general distrust for them. not so with these guys! our family had to return our leased camry and was upgrading to a mini-van, and we needed to get an inspection of the vehicle (so we knew we weren't getting swindled by the dealer). i scheduled a 21 point inspection of a 2006 toyota sienna, and i brought the van in the same day i made the appointment. they spent about 30-45 minutes and checked areas for wear-and-tear and some other safety features of the vehicle. they charged me $39.95 with tax, which i thought was a pretty good price for what they were doing. they were friendly and respectful, and most importantly were honest. it really was all in the name. i came out feeling happy about my purchase with the dealership, but i was also happy with the service i received from honest 1 auto care. more

They honored the price 7/5/2011

My wife had clipped a coupon some time ago. Longer than we had thought. So when we brought it in, it was over a year out of date. I was embarrassed but the staff was friendly and they honored the price printed on the coupon. I know they didn't have to, but they made a return customer out of me. more

Clean, friendly, informative 6/4/2011

I have gone to Honest 1 for oil changes and to replace my entire air conditioning system. Bob is very friendly, and he takes the time to teach you what is going on with the car. He gets you involved in making decisions about things that may need fixing. They are informative without pressuring you to fix things that may not need fixing... Best over all experience that I have ever had at an auto shop... more

I liked that I could make an appointment and bring my car in when I wanted. I was afraid that by bringing it in later in the day, (4:30 pm) I was going to have to wait because they were behind. But that wasn't the case. My vehicle was being worked on before I had all my info filled out at the front desk and it was done 30 minutres. sooner than they quoted me. They are very friendly and easy to get a long with. I'll be back. more

Quick and professional 5/19/2011

Quick and professional. I was impressed with the pick up/drop off service provided. AND the saftey/emissions testing I got done was nearly $25 cheaper than where I was going to take it. Overall, a better experience than I am used to receiving. Thanks! more

I learned about your shop through my girl friend. She had nothing but good things to say on your company's behalf. I was talking to a friend at work ( work at Provo city) and he told me that your company offers discounts for city employees. I just needed a basic oil change and have been to busy to do it myself. I decided to take a chance and check you guys out. I am happy I did. Good luck in the future and I will not hesitate to come back. more

The service is amazing. I've only come by on two occasions beforehand, but they greeted me by name without having to ask. The waiting area is the best area I've ever seen and the only automotive place I actually feel comfortable waiting it. I have already referred them to many friends more

Every time I have gone to this Honest-1 Auto Care, I am treated with the amount of respect that I don’t get everywhere else. Being a woman going into a, Auto shop of any kind you automatically have some sort of insecurity. Here the Shop Managers always make me feel welcome and no question is overlooked or too stupid. It almost feels like apart of the family! I am glad I found you guys! Thanks for all you do! more

I had taken my car originally to another service shop and felt like they wanted to repair things that didn't need it and was way over charging for their services. A co-worker told me about Honest 1 and recommend that I have them look at it. Not only was the repair done as quick as possible, but at a third the cost of the first shop had quoted me, plus some of the things the other shop was wanting to do didn't need to be done. I so much appreciate that, and will definitely come back to Honest 1 Auto for any future work. My father was a mechanic and service manager throughout his career and always treated his clients and patrons honestly. I feel my father would be very pleased with the people you have working for you and the integrity of your shop and business. Thank you for truly being Honest in your care of my car it is much appreciated. more
