I am continuously impressed with the level of service I receive at Steve Wards Auto Perfoemance Center right down to the online information center for each vehicle I have.....this shop truly takes the time to explain every detail so that I can feel comfortable with all repairs. Steve, Tara and Andrew thank you for making the nightmare of auto maintainence a comfortable reality. Each person there always says hello and offers help to make my visit feel like I'm visiting a family. I always recommend their shop to all my family and friends. Excellent job! more

Great service and friendly helpful staff 5/19/2015

I was impressed with the staff at Auto performance. One man even took the time to explain how the part worked that they were fixing. He was very friendly and helpful. I feel that it's a place where I can take my car and they will be honest about what needs to be fixed, helpful because i am a single mom and do not know much about cars. It's a service that is appreciated. more

Beyond professional. 3/19/2015

Brought my car in for diagnostics as I am on a budget. They were very thorough and complete providing me with a detailed lust of what needs to be repaired and what needs to be replaced. This is a 17 year old Jaguar and he knew exactly what needed to be checked, he has earned my business for sure. more

Best service I've ever gotten 3/9/2015

Knowledge and service are excellent. I bought a 20 year old car with a good motor so that I could do autocross, but it needed brakes, new battery, and some other bits. I told them what I wanted to do with the car, and they knew what parts to recommend and fixed everything perfectly. more

Sometimes you just get lucky!! We were headed home to Beaufort from an appointment at Duke. Driving through Raleigh our car overheated. Having lived in Garner for thirty-one years, we decided to get on Hwy. 70 and hope for something familiar. We drove into Auto Performance Center at 4:50. The receptionist was friendly and encouraging. An ice storm was forecast and I am sure everyone was anxious to get home. Instead, Andrew came in, checked our car, and said he would try to have us back on our way in about an hour. This included having parts delivered. We apologized for the lateness, but he assured us that this was what he does and he was glad he could help us! Wow! He was great!! Very articulate! Explained the problem and also what he did, etc. What a fine young man!! Wish we could take our car there regularly!! Three hour drive!! As I said, sometimes you just get lucky!! Thank you!!!!!! more

When my alternator was going bad, it rearranged my plans for that day but when I went to get it replaced, they replaced it promptly and I was able to make plans again to travel, confident that it would run fine! more

Fast and Friendly Inspection 12/18/2014

Initially went to Pep Boys for a car inspection and they were booked solid. The Auto Performance Center had me in and out in under 15 minutes and were exceptionally friendly. more
