Excellent from start to finish 1/13/2014

I've only had my car for a few days since it was repaired but so far, very good. Auto Care East is very professional. The staff is remarkably helpful and the well organized -- unlike another garage I've used. I am impressed that they will stand behind the repairs they did. I will use them again. more

my battery was supposedly tested but then failed right after the car was returned. 1/4/2014

The least expensive thing would have been to replace the battery and see, but I spent a huge amount having the starter replaced, and the car died after. When I then replaced the battery the car worked, and continues to do so. more

ACE did a great job. took my car, kept me informed as to its progress and completed work almost on time. it was ok as I didn't need my car for the extra day or so it took. all the while they were always very courteous more

Iffy customer service 11/11/2013

I brought my car in for inspection on tuesday evening as scheduled. the young man at the desk was quite rude telling me that it was impossible that anyone would have allowed me to bring my car in the night before. I explained that the gentleman that made the appointment for me was very understanding of my early work schedule and offered for me to bring the car in the night before. The young man was incredulous and berating me in front of other staff and customers telling me I would have to be prepared to pay for overnite parking. Needless to say it was very embarrassing. He finally looked at the following day schedule he saw that Dave made the appt. Dave corroborated and then the young man started carrying on again about doing inspections for tax purposes, etc. I tuned out at that point. I still can't understand why I was treated in such an unseemly way. I was a customer who as it turned out spent over $400 on services. Unacceptable customer service from that young man. Dave was very helpful and kind. more

Not Entirely Satisfied 11/10/2013

The lines of the repaired area on tailgate are wavy and of poor quality.The newly installed parts do not fit as well as factory installed. My car was full of dust and powdery handprints. I expected at least a car wash for $3000 worth of work.The paper carpet protection was left in my car. One of my Jeep emblem license plate screw covers was missing when my car was released. The receptionist has very poor telephone manners. more

Strongly recommend this small shop. It is well run. They are cordial, well organized, responsive and give clear and consistent information. I have used their shop for inspections and oil change. more
