I have been a customer of Autobarn for several years and have always found the service staff and mechanics to be first rate. i own a GTI and a Touareg TDI. Jason is always willing to go the extra mile to get things right- especially when it is a difficult issue. i had some problems with the turbos on the touareg and they went to bat for me and covered everything with VW. it was a complex problem that took time to diagnose. Marrat took the time to fix it correctly and completely while keeping me informed during the process. They even texted me regarding the updates on my car while it was in process. if you want a dealer that you can trust- yes hard to believe- call Autobarn VW in Evanston. i would highly recommend the dealership. I was very impressed with the staff and attention I received at the Autobarn of Evanston. My sales consultant was Sam, he was very professional and knew his product. He had me test drive 3 different models and explained the different features each provided until I was sure which would be the best for me. After deciding on the Passat, they didn't have the color I wanted so they checked with other dealerships and located the one I selected. I then spoke with the sales manager Ryan, we went over what I would receive for my trade-in, which was a very fair price. He was informative and helped make my sale go smoothly. We came to an agreement on the price and then I was taken to Scott in finance who explained everything very carefully. The following day I returned to pick up my new car, they went over the entire car with me and again explained the various features. I was very pleased with my overall experience with the Autobarn and would definitely recommend them to family and friends. more

This was the second VW we have purchased from this dealer and we have always found them to be great to work during the purchase process. We also have found there service deparment to be sensitive to repair costs, reliable and accurate when fixing any problems with our Phaeton. more
