I took my dog to Gerry with Austin City Paws for the first time at the end of April, and I will now use him every time I go out of town. I have used a number of dog boarding facilities in Austin and while I have been fine with their services, I wanted to research what other options were out there. My dog is the sweetest shelter mut and she's a little neurotic, so I just felt like she needed more one-on-one attention rather than a busy, barking play pen. more

Great pet-sitting service 12/28/2009

Gerry arranged to come by before we left town to learn how to take care of Sonny. He was great, and we felt very comfortable leaving Sonny at the apartment while we were away over Christmas. We'll use Austin City Paws again! more

Excellent Service and very Reliable Pet Sitter 12/27/2009

I made last minute plans for my Christmas week and obviously couldn't find any pet sitter and then I find out about Austin City Paws.Gerry was just awesome with both the dogs (one golden retriever the other lab mix). When he came over for consultation, both the dogs responded very well. He always kept me updated how the dogs were doing. My trip was just peaceful! Once I was back from the trip, the dogs behaved as if I never left. I would definitely recommend Gerry to anybody who is looking for a reliable pet sitter. I am definitely using him again! more

Happy Dogs...Great Service! Definitely recommend... 11/29/2009

We used Gerry for the first time for a recent weekend getaway. I was so excited to find my two active dogs very content and happy upon my return. I could tell immediately they had been walked, fed, and loved on just as if we'd never left. Gerry came by twice to meet the dogs before our departure to be sure the dogs would feel comfortable with him. Even my nervous, shy dog was crawling into his lap by the end of the weekend. What a great feeling to know I can leave and the dogs will be happily cared for at home (rather than cooped up in a kennel). His prices are very reasonable and he will go the extra mile for you and your pets! Many thanks Gerry and Austin City Paws!! Pros: Responsive, on time, caring, goes the extra mile more

Excellent service, happy kitty! 11/24/2009

Gerry did a wonderful job. At the consultation, he played with our five-month-old kitten, Baxter, and was very knowledgeable. We came home after four days and Baxter acted like we had never left! His pricing is very fair, he emailed us updates on how Baxter was doing, and was very courteous. We will definitely use him every time we need a pet sitter! Austin City Paws Made Life Easier... in a tough transition 11/13/2009

Gerry Harmon knows his stuff! Our family was moving to Tyler from Austin and we needed someone to care for our pup, Waldo, while we packed and loaded. There just wasn't time for us to comfort our anxious dog, reassure the kids that it would be okay and get everything done. Big sisters took care of the kiddos and Gerry at Austin City Paws took care of Waldo! When he came back, he seemed much less anxious and happy to have had play time! You won't find a better service 10/2/2009

I have to tell you that just knowing that I have a service that go's the extra mile is more than words can say. On time, very polite and knowledgeable and great with animals. Thanks you Austin City Paws for covering my last minute travels and being there for ""Sparky"" and ""Tweeter"" and thanks for keeping my home safe and comfortable while I am away. This guy is awesome 9/18/2009

I just found Gary and Austin CIty Paws and I interviewed a lot of sitters. I firmly believe that a pet is much better off in it home. Gary gave me first class service. I had a service guy come to the house while I was gone and Gary met him and stayed with him during the service visit. I would never use anyone else. 5 Star service and a great owner. Thanks Gary!
