Good Going Down and Nasty Coming Up Always been taught if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. This is an exception after the Mangers at the Auslander Restaurant were very rude to me when I attempted to inform them of a potential threat to their customers. Down and out for 2 full days of vomiting, diarrhea and fever after eating the Auslander famed 'JagerSchnitzel'. This dish nearly sent me to the hospital with a 103 temperature and severe dehydration. When I attempted to let the Auslander Restaurant know that they may have bad pork on their hands, I was met with denial and accusation including lies about basic medical facts on food poisoning. On top of the Auslander food poisoning there was a large bug in my sister's drink, most of our food was cold and our appetizers were forgotten. This had been a favorite restaurant of mine for beers and live music but never again after this horrible experience that caused me to miss work after paying for over priced food that gave me food poisoning at Auslander in Fredericksburg, TX ~ Concerned Local Texan more

The Auslander is a fantastic place. We live here in Fredericksburg and I can assure you that Auslander is the best place to eat, drink, and listen to music. They have a great biergarten and a wonderful dining room. The food is great and so is the service. REALLY a fun, enjoyable place to dine or just hang out. Anyone coming to Fredericksburg should definitely give Auslander a shot. You won't be disappointed! Pros: Food, Live Music, and Ambience Cons: Sometimes it gets REALLY busy! more
