HORRIBLE!!!! 10/10/2010

2YRS AGO AUNT KIZZYS WAS WONDERFUL MY HUSBAND AND I USED TO VISIT ALL THE TIME TIL WE MOVED AND WE RETURNED TO THEE NEW LOCATION AND THEE SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! OUR WAITER WAS EXTREMLY RUDEE AND DISRESPECTFUL WHEN I ASKED ANY QUESTIONS THEE BATHROOM WAS EXTREMELY DIRTY AND DARK THEE TABLE WAS FILTHY NOT ONLYY ALL THAT BUT IT TAKES 20 MINUTES TOO GET SOME FRIED CHICKEN AND 4 DOLLERS EXTRA FOR SOME OF THERE SIDES AND IT TOOK OVER 10 MINUTES TO GET A DRINK WE HAD ORDERED WHEN NO ONE ELSE WAA EVEN PRESENT IN THEE RESTURANT AND NOT ONLYY DID WE GET OUT FRINKS LATEE THEY OVER FILLED THEM WITH ICE SO THERE WAS BARELY ANYTHING TO DRINK AND THE SODA TASTED LIK CARBONATED WATER NO FLAVOR WATSO EVER AND TOO TOP IT ALL OFF WE GOT COLD CORNBREAD BISCUITS THAT TASTED SPOILED! INSTEAD OF AUNT KIZZYS IT SHOULD BEE CHANGED TOO AUNT DIZZYS! HORRIBLE QUALITY THEE OWNERS WERE EXTREMLY OLD AND SEEMED LIK THEY REALLY DID NOT WANNA BE THERE! DOOO NOT GOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overrated 8/18/2005

I haven't been to Aunt Kizzy's in awhile but from memory the dining area is small and cramped the tables and seating are very uncomfortable. There staff is not customer friendly and very impatient. The wait for a table is usually extremely long and the restaurant is highly overrated. The prices aren't bad but considering the taste there not good. I don't recommend Aunt Kizzy's if your looking for some delicious down home soul food save your time and money and ask grandma to cook. more

Good soulfood restaurant in MDR 8/11/2005

Aunt Kizzy's has been in business awhile and that's due to it's good home cooking menu. Portions are plentiful. Choices are greens, sweet potato, fried chicken to name a few popular southern dishes. It's located in the mall next to Vons so there's plenty of parking available. Prices can run a little high but the dishes are very tasty. The decor is really nice inside, a good family restaurant no doubt. more
