I would give it half a star if I could!
The only two things about this complex that were nice were the pool (when it was open) and the maintanance staff (who were nice every time they came).
Other than that, there were issues on top of issues. Whenever they have the causeways cleaned, the company they paid would blow water into the apartment. When I would get home from work, the carpets would be drenched. When told of this problem, they looked at me like I was crazy and said no one else was having that problem.
But the worse part was the condition of the apartment ... it was barely cleaned when I got there and had to be talked into proceeding with my move in by the agent who assured me she would have the dingy carpet cleaned ""again"". It was not only never cleaned again (unless I did it) but upon leaving the complex, they are charging me to replace the carpeting I informed them about when I moved in. They are taking my deposit and asking for more. REALLY????
In my opinion, they are ripping me off. Everything I was told they were going to do, they never did ... such as adding notations to the lease about the carpet and other items I pointed out when I moved in.
I have learned a lesson ... if you want to move in here TAKE PICTURES before you sign the lease, take pictures after you leave, make sure everything you say is noted and make sure they do the check out with you. Unfortunately, I bought into the whole, we'll do the check out later even though management came to the apartment and went through everything with me. You will just get a call 2 days later saying you owe them.
FYI ... there are 3 bedroom homes on and off the same street renting for less than the 2 bedroom aptment I rented here. I moved into a condo 2 streets away and I'm only paying $47 more and have an extra 300 sq feet and quieter neighbors!!!!
