I also paid 318.00 for an axle assembly, found it had a broken shock bracket and a bent backing plate where the drum brakes attach too...lot of welding and hammering was required....please be careful when buying from Auggie Pohl....hes a sheister!! more

Got some parts (bushing, steering knuckle + ball joint for my acura from August Pohl, which I paid $318 total for it. When I when to pick up the parts they were not in good shape (rusty), but I took them to my mechanic to give them the benefit of the doubt (since I am not a mechanic myself). When I took them to my mechanic, the moment he saw them and examine them he said that the parts were no good and that the price was too high for such old parts. Took the parts back the next day and they only returned $254 back to my account. They said the parts were good and supposedly their return policy covers 90 days but even when I returned the parts the next day I didn't get full return. Avoid dealing with this thieves at all cost and buy parts from one of the other auto parts in the area that actually value costumers. more

I wouldn't reccomend to anyone. Bought part from them, it was junk, wouldn't answer or return emails/calls, as soon as I called from a different number they answered, when I identified myself and the issue I was having, they hung up. more

Augie's is the best place to find that old part you've been looking for to fix your car. Cheapest prices around and great service. If they don't have it in stock, they'll find it and call you when they have it. They have been around for years, and it's easy to see why. Great customer service and prices keep people coming back. more
