Always have gotten great care for my Sheltie here. Rates are reasonable too. Our old veterinarian told us that The Audubon Clinic Inc. had more advanced technoloy then they did.

very unprofessional 7/29/2014

I just want to let everyone know I did get another vet to come and see my horses, However it has cost $200 farm call fee, because of Audubon Animal Clinic in Bridgeport. When I called Audubon Animal Clinic last week Dr. Winnie Maset was out that day, they said someone would call me back. On Wednesday Mara from the clinic called to schedule the appt.for this week, when she started asking where I live I replied, Katy, she said Mannington? I said no, then she said Farmington? I said no, I have a Fairmont, address, I told her to ask Winnie, he knows where I live. She was been being rude and snippy on the phone for some reason, So I asked her why she was being rude to me? She then went off saying she wasn't being rude and she need to know where I live so she could get his schedule set. The she said never mind I will have someone else call me and make the appt. I never heard back from them, so I messaged winnie, He advised me, HE IS NO LONGER ALLOW TO WORK ON MY HORSES! OMG REALLY, He has be more

very poor management 10/15/2013

I recently changed my dogs to Audubon because Dr. Maset treats my horse (Dr. Maset is FABULOUS, 5 stars); however, I discovered that Audubon consistently "overbooks" app'ts and my typical wait time is over an hour for the most routine visit. Yesterday another woman and myself were scheduled at the exact same time for the same vet. I imagine Audubon does this to make money but it shows a complete disrespect for the clients and even for the professionals who are working in the practice. Based on comments from both clients and staff, this practice of overbooking is routine; when I asked the office manager, she did not deny it and told me I could transfer my dogs' records elsewhere. I find this practice to be unethical. Whoever owns/manages Audubon clearly does not respect the clients' time and takes advantage of those who need less expensive care and so are unable to take their pets elsewhere. more

VERY DISSATISFIED PATIENT 3/1/2011

The staff at Audubon made a big huge mistake in not seeing my dog when she was injured a few weeks ago. Insisted I go to the Emergency Clinic instead of seeing her established Vet Dr Thompson whom I have dealed with for years. She ended up needing multiple xrays and hip surgery.... which we endured a large Vet Bill which was fine and the Vet that did take her on as a new patient took very good care of her and her surgery was successful and she is doing very well. LOST REVENUE for the Audubon Animal Clinic. With a new Vet coming to Bridgeport soon I do not think could be a plus for this clinic, I could not get past the staff to speak to a Vet at Audubon the day of her injury to get her in that day. I will never recommend this clinic to anyone in the future which I have done several times in the past years. Your loss, OUR GAIN, more

STAFF IS VERY UNKIND 2/21/2011

Now I know why Dr McCutcheons Ad in the yellow pages states " WE LIKE ANIMALS AND PEOPLE TOO " Must be in reference to the way the Audubon Clinic treats people and looks at them when they walk in the door with their pets. As my husband said they are eye rollers and look at you like they are so mad cause you walked in ! This has become a common fact amoung alot of people in the area who are seeking care for their pets elsewhere. I have spoken to 6 people recently who were treated terrible by staff at Audubon. more

Very unhappy patient 2/14/2011

I have taken my pets to Dr Thompson for years. He has done surgery on two of my pets over the years. I called for an appointment after my black lab woke up unable to walk and experiencing rt hip pain on 2/14/11. She is nine yrs old and in alot of pain. Me being a Nurse and scheduled for duty and my Husband a physician neither of us could get her there before 5 pm. We could have her there around 5:30. The receptionist would not give her any appt later than 5 pm. I understand that every office has its hours but could they not at least have evening hours or wait 30 minutes on an established patient that has spent alot of money over the years ?? I love Dr Thompson and his care has been exceptional and I hate to seek another vet but today I was forced to. In addition the last few times I was there with my dogs and my Fathers dog, the receptionist were VERY cold and unfriendly and a few years ago whenever I boarded one of my labs for a week, I was treated very rudely along with my dog when I more
