I took my car in for repair from a collision on Dec 31st. Was told by the shop my car was anticipated to be completed by Jan 16th. The shop had called me numerous times telling me that ""all the parts are in and we just have to reassemble the car"". I had been told this 5 different times. Meanwhile, I am in a rental car paid by insurance for 30days. The shop could not complete the work in 30 days for some reason. I recieved a number of excuses telling me why it was not completed. After the 30 days I am responsible for the rental charges. I had asked 2 different tiimes for the shop to help with the rental charges due to delays on their part. I was told no. After 2 more weeks of excuses I finally contacted the GM of the facility. Again more excuses. The shop finally agreed to help with rental charges starting on Feb 18th until they completed the work. Leaving me with 17 days of rental charges to pay because the shop has absolutely no sense of urgency when it comes to repairs that they had said would be completed a month earlier. I think it is rediculous that I would have to take the issue to the GM to finally get some halfway decent customer service. And even then, again I got more excuses from the GM. He told me they ""guess what parts to order"". Thats all fine and dandy but while they are ""guessing"" on what parts to order I am paying 30 dollars a day while they take their sweet tiime. Today is Feb 22nd and I have yet to get my car back. Again, orginally told it would be ready Jan 16th. So the bottom line is, don't ever take your car here for repairs unless you are prepared to deal with constant excuses on why your car is delayed and you can go without your car for 2 months. Terrible customer service skills and absolutely no sense of urgency!
