The saddest part of me coming to this site and reading that other families horrible experience is seeing that this is not uncommon for this vet ER. How upsetting that when we have a problem with a family pet that we cannot trust people whom we should be able to.\r

The highlights: I called because my kitten was throwing up blod over and over. The girl asked no Qs and kept repeating that I'd have to pay upon arrival. I said I'd be there in 15 mins. Rang the bell, waited, was let in oddly, thrown a form and girl stated ""I'll be back.... whenever."" I then stood there at the front desk alone at 10pm at night for 55 mins. Tried to get the young girl and Dr.s attention repeatedly and they ignored and rushed down the hall. Finally called a vet ER in Tacoma and was told that they immediately triage the animal. These people had not even LOOKED AT my cat in her cage let alone taken vitals. I walked into the back to tell them I was leaving and surprised to see FIVE workers back there. They basically begged me to stay and the dr. looking annoyed said he'd look at my cat in 5 mins. I just wanted to leave but said fine.\r

Inside the room I was assigned, there are no doors inbetween the rooms so I kept my kitten in cage due to dog in room next to us with no barrier inbetween. Dr. took vitals and gave her fluids via IV for 5 mins. The young girl checked me out for $140 and told me to restrict my cats food/water for a day then feed bland chicken and scrambled eggs. ??? \r

In the room next to me the famly was clearly upset about their animal and were given mis-information about whether they had to pay $500 right now as a down payment or if that was full payment. they thought that was the full payment and only had to pay less than for down payment. Felt badly for them.\r
