I have went to this palce for the last 30 years and always have enjoyed every visit until today.\r
\r
I visited today and it was with great anticipation. On the drive to Attmans I was think of an extra lean corned beef sandwich on rye with mustard and literally my month was watering. I had not visited Attmans for a few months. When I visit it reminds me of my father and the days we would get a sandwich and laugh at the ""New York"" style clerks behind the counter yelling and shouting friendly directions (next, hurry up, we don't have all day, etc.)\r
\r
The place has really ran into a wall. One of the cases that would display all different kind of specialities was spray painted black so you could not see thru the glass, I assume because of a mechinical failure. The place was dirty and the clerks seemed to have their minds on something else. The corned beef I had today was fair, but the guy that waited on me sliced it thick and it really was sort of dry. He had gloves on but touched everything possible (even itching his ear while checking me out) and then continues to make food afterwards, I was very diappointed.\r
\r
I normally do not write reviews. It is with great sadness that I am seeing the start of Attmans becoming a distant memory in Baltimore history. \r
\r
If the guy that manages this historical institution reads this please believe me when I say I am not trying to be mean. Please restore this place to the greatness that has served Baltimore for so many years. \r

You have the product, just need to tweek the environment and service delivery. Do it for Seymour!\r
