Attitudes

I have made two visits to Attitudes; my first and last. The selection is OK and the prices are not too bad but I know where they get the name. Have you ever been in a store that you had to grit your teeth to make it through your purchase? When I visited the establishment there were two clerks; a young girl and an older woman. The young girl was knowledgeable and a delight to work with. But I got passed off to the older woman and she is obnoxious as the day is long. I really wanted to leave but I did not want to upset my daughter. Broken tap shoes begrudgingly brought me back; fingers crossed, hoping for the younger clerk. I was instead met at the door by the older lady who; at 5:57pm slammed the door in my face, locked it and scowled at me. Not only will I never return but I am going to share my story with as many people as I can more

I went to Attitudes to get dance wear for my granddaughter. The salesgirl was extremely helpful. They have a wide selection and she gave me some very useful advise in selecting dance wear for a young child. I was surprised to find that the ballet slippers that I priced at Payless were actually less expensive here. On most of their items they seem to have a range of price. Since my granddaughter is young and still growing, I went with the lesser priced slippers and tights. It was such a pleasant experience, I am sure we will be back many times in the future. more

I walked in not knowing anything, and the girls in there were so sweet and help me so much ! I could get lost in this store ! more

I love Attitudes! They have such a huge selection of dancewear, skate, cheer, gymnastics pretty much anything you need they have! If by chance they don't have something they are always willing to accommodate you if possible. I have special ordered things from them in the past and it was a huge help. more

I never made it to this store. I called for directions and the woman was not helpful at all. The website says the store is on 73 but she said it was on 70. Ok, no problem but give me some landmarks. She gave me one landmark. I asked for another and there was complete silence on the phone. When a customer calls, that's your chance to get them into the store! I was totally turned off. \r \r I went to "My Dance Bag" instead because they were so much more helpful on the phone. more

Attitudes has everything & anything you could possibly need for a dancer for any age! Although a bit pricey the custyomer service keeps us going back to them! It is a very small store but packed to the top with anything you could imagine! From unique gifts to dance shoes, clothes & hair accesories you will not go wrong with this store. If you are going with your kids DO NOT bring in a stroller as it will not make it through the racks so close together! more

If you are a dancer or have alittle dancer in your life, like I do, then this is an excellent place to buy dancewear for yor recitals, etc. They have many different outfits, costumes and accessories for dancers and skaters. They carry dancewear from many different desighners. If you are looking for a place to get dyeable dance slippers for weddings or proms, they do that too. more
