A Very Horrible Experience 12/21/2005

I went to Attia Art & Coiffure with a friend last year after seeing it ad for it somewhere. The spa was clean and nice looking, and at first, the staff seemed pretty helpful and friendly. Once at the chair, I was told that I would look good with chocolate highlights. However, I told her that I wanted blonde highlights. Still, she insisted and made it seem as if I was colorblind and would look awful with MY choice. In the end, I got frustrated with her after she started to refuse to highlight my hair, and left. My friend did have an ok time there, but she wouldn't recommend it either. more

If you want your hair pulled, your opinions dismissed, and your colour request ignored, then this is the salon for you. I was shocked at the treatment I paid for and received. I'm no young, naive college girl, I'm over 40, yet, I was treated like an innocent, twenty-something. I've always enjoyed my visits to a Georgetown Salon, but wanted to try this one because it's closer to my house. Obviously, I'm never going to step foot in this salon again. If I want to be verbally abused (for FREE), I'll ring up my ex-boyfriend. more
