Atom Moving

Somehow I get the feeling that many of the reviewers here are trolls for this despicable moving company.\r \r I was initially excited about finding a moving company that would commit to a long distance move for what appeared to be a reasonable price. Moreover the sales rep Bryan Welch informed me that even though the contract stipulated delivery for up to 15 business days, my stuff would arrive within a few days, at most a week. He then mentioned the numerous trucks that left Boston on a regular basis again assuring me that I wouldn't have to wait long for delivery.\r \r The movers themselves were fairly efficient. However they used excessive packing materials, charged me an additional 500 dollars for unclear reasons. They foreman threatened to boost my fees for the "long carry" clause unless I gave him a cash bribe. \r \r Two weeks later my belongings still haven't arrived and when I call the company the sales reps have blown me off, telling me someone from dispatch would call me (of c more

It was a very long day, Michael's crew worked like a well oiled machine. The team was very profesional and polite. I was very impressed with how they wrapped my things. I hired Michael's to transition into my new Cambridge home. I was really pleased and I really do recommend these guys. As a collector (and shopaholic:) I have tons of very fragile things and also things with a lot of both sentimental and monetary value....the movers did an excellent job with my things. My estimate was very accurate and the salesperson was so nice and polite...he explained all the charges for the move and was so patient with all of my questions and concerns. Further, the movers were totally professional and everything went smoothly and *quickly*. We contacted Michael's over 1 month ago, my mother was moving to California and my fiance and i were moving across town. Michael personaly came to my mothers house to give her a quote. he spent well over an hour with her and said they could pack and unpack her whole house. He then came to my house and gave me a quote to move to another city. Both moves were done amazingly well, stress free and most professional. My mother had lived in her home for over 25 years so you can imagine the amount of stuff accumulated. I cannot say enough good things about Michael and his staff. Thank you guys!! We just completed our week long process of relocating. We had Michael's pack us over 2 days and then delivered our furniture to Wisconsin. With all the horror stories weve heard about movers, Michael's set and kept our minds at ease throughout this process. Thank you Michael!!!! Romeo and his crew were STUPENDOUS they made this move seem simple, stressless, and very easy. They loaded and unloaded 2 trucks in one of the coldest days in Boston. This was the first time I have ever used a moving company, so I was a bit apprehensive. We looked around Boston and found lots of great companies, and lots of cheap companiesbut few that were solid and reasonably priced. If a chain is as strong as its weakest link, this company can't possibly be that good. I called to ask for the free in-home estimate their website offers and the so-called customer service rep, (You know the type -- emotionless and rude, asks the next question before you even finish answering her previous question, annoyed that you called) proceeded to tell me that they would not come to my place because it was ""just a one-bedroom"". I would take an automated customer service robot any day over her. She said she could give me an estimate over the phone. I politely declined, hung up and thought of the more creative responses I could have come up with. My suggestions to MM: Qualify your website claims and send phone girl in for a tune up. i have moved 4 times within Massachusettes, i had 2 other companies on this list that were not professional movers then i found Michael's. I could not be more impressed with there services from beginning to end. Thanks again Michael more
