Great Off-Broadway 4/22/2006

The Atlantic Theatre Company's space in Chelsea is one of my favorite places to see a show. Not only do I enjoy a lot of the plays they select for their season, but the space offers great seats for EVERYONE in the house. The building used to be a church, I believe, judging from both the exterior and the windows on the audience left side. Don't plan on using the bathroom during an act - they are located behind the stage (causing every patron who needs to use the facilities to walk over stage - a thrill for young theatre lovers!) Check out a show here before it transfers to the big houses uptown, as many have in the past few years! Seats on the ends creak a bit, but all are fairly roomy. more
